over half of women voted for trump, but its still your fault men.

[–]Lice138 9 points10 points11 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But those women only voted for trump because their husbands made them (women are stupid slaves with no minds of their own when it suits the feminist argument) or... Its because of internalized misogyny!

Internalized misogyny is what you blame when even women don't agree with the stupid feminist narrative.

Over 6 billion women are raped every day

That would mean every woman in the world gets raped at least twice a day, check your numbers

OMG HATE SPEECH!!! You are a victim of internalized misogyny. things like "math" and "facts" were made up by cis white straight men to trick women into RAPE!

[–]Saleri50 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

These results were the biggest slap on the face on every smarmy and sexist woman in America, and I loved it exactly because of that.

[–]BoozeBumAddict 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Actually the majority of women voted for Hillary (unless you only mean white women)

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

because their husbands - fathers - brothers - uncles told them to ... LOL

[–]zap283 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You know, she doesn't actually say anything about it being men's fault. She says "Folx who aren't cis hetero men, I'm sorry". She's expressing her condolences to the many people, not just women, who have been personally denounced by Donald Trump because of the way they were born.

[–]FFXIV_Machinist 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

by exempting white males from her apology, she is placing blame on us as if she thinks we are responsible for this perceived slight.

E.G. a MASSIVE ammount of women, MEXICANS, and BLACKS, all voted for trump- and thats because they agreed with his stance.

I underestimated hate in America

will be written many times over and without irony by hate-mongering SJWs

[–]dungone 15 points16 points17 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The identity politics have blown up in their faces, but they continue to be in denial.

[–]Real_nimr0d 14 points15 points16 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Oh yeah, 50%+ of americans are racists and sexist, man these liberals are so delusional. They won't look at their failings and why they lost the election but will continue to play the victim card and call everyone else a bigot and whatever shaming label they can find.

[–]experience_sandbox 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Please don't use the word liberal to describe people like this. They are illiberal.

Well, maybe not

and everyone around and supporting him was much more direct about it

I'm so tolerant I'm actually going to have a temper tantrum when I don't get my way

[–]Orbiter42 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

its one of the things that's difficult to point out. steadily over the last 20 years, the concept of "tolerance," has grown from left forcing the right to stop shaming the left with traditional morality, to the left using shame to force the right to embrace modern morality

so you get Trump, acting with out the restraint that the left has forced on the right, yea, enough people where willing to over look his short comings, in exchange for a share of tolerance.

[–]Lethn 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's not even modern morality all it is is another brand of fanaticism, the only difference is that these people worship the altar of political correctness and a weird brand of cultural Marxism instead of a god.

[–]Rex9 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Both sides are so polarized now that it's hard to find anything in either side to agree with.

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh I remember that, she was one of those stupid people running around with blue flags with Eddie Izzard, or she was part of the same group I think at the very least.

[–]SRSLovesGawker 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I recall that clip, of her thinking "This wasn't supposed to happen here! It was america! They're the racists! We're good people!"

Well, happened in the US too so... guess she wasn't wrong about "where it was supposed to happen", although I have serious reservations about her evaluation as to why.

[–]PM_ME_UR_IMPLANTS 5 points6 points7 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup. I'm about to unfollow my cousin before I say something I regret because it's been a stream of "I never knew America was so filled with hate and bigotry."

[–]aesopstortoise 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is the same sort of disbelieving rage that spewed forth after the Brexit vote. It will likely last a long time.

[–]erenthia 4 points5 points6 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Please tell me this is the spark of our revolutionary flame

No honey, it's the spark of ours.

[–]Ouroboros85 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Its really cute seeing posts like this simply for how delusional they are. They want their marxist/feminist revolution damn it throws toddler temper tantrum and refuses to pick up PC toys.

[–]MotherFuckin-Oedipus 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Living in California and under 30, nearly every single person on my feed says something like this or worse.

Half of my wife's family was in tears and has been whining non-stop about how racist and sexist every cis white man is.

A few of them have even tagged me since they know I typically lean right and have outright blamed me.

[–]Ophiopogon[S] 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why vote Trump? Maybe because you're sick of being labeled a racist, sexist, bigot by the the left.. and labeled that mostly because you exist..

[–]MRA-automatron-2kb 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Please remind them that they called you a racist CIS male next time they phone you for some help.

[–]CynixCS 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Damn I want to see that revolution. I mean come on, tubblrina hamplanets doing a 'roll on Washington' in their Scootypuffs, huffing and puffing in-between acting like trigglypuff? Hell I'd pay just to see that.

They hate us cis gay men almost as much. Sometimes more. It's an absolutely evil, cancerous ideology.

[–]Malzun 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

One of my gay friends was jokingly talking about voting for Trump because "that fucking bitch was crazy." And then he saw his facebook feed talking about how Trump is gonna take away all gay rights, and how anyone who voted for Trump should apologize to their gay friends, and just fucking laughed his ass off at the stupidity.

[–]RobDog101 2 points3 points4 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah. I just had to unfriend one of my best friends from childhood on Facebook. Mind you, I never unfriend people for differing political views or even if they express a prejudiced view about a group I identify with. But this guy and his sister were saying that if you supported Trump, you should explain to your black/female/Latino/GLBT+ friends why they "don't matter to you". To make a long story short it came to me saying that it's ridiculous to imply that my Mexican boyfriend whom I love like I've never loved anyone before doesn't matter to me, just because of how I voted (the kicker being that we're a gay couple), and my friend who's known me since childhood said "Yeah, obviously not."

I'm not gonna tolerate that bullshit. People are so hungover from the histrionic leftist media's fear and hate mongering that they can't readjust to the real world and see people for who they are or understand that, no, nobody's legitimate human rights are in imminent danger here. Fuck the leftist media. Even after being more thoroughly discredited than they have ever been, they are still tearing this country apart.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

These disgusting excuses for humans depress me, I've stepped on snails that were more rational and intelligent.

[–]repete66219 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

That person is in fucking Canada. So she's apologizing to the alphabet soup on behalf of a country whose election she didn't even vote in.

[–]GetOffMyPrawn 1 point2 points3 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Don't blame me, I felt the Johnson... In a state that was clearly going to lean democrat anyway. I might've been pursuaded to vote for Sanders or one of the milder republicans. But no. Pop some corn and enjoy the show, right?

[–]zap283 3 points4 points5 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Listen, guys. I get the allure of the salt an all, but can we cool it just a bit? I'm not here to talk about Donald Trump's policies or worthiness to be President. But the man has spouted honest to god sexism and racism the whole election long. This one is not about us. It is perfectly reasonable for people in the many groups he has slandered to express some concern about the fact that so many people were willing to vote for him anyway.

I'd like to believe that people voted in spite of the unconscionable things he's said, not because of them. Can you guys maybe not prove me wrong?

[–]rawbface 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No because my friends are reasonable people.

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes, it's really funny, they have no power anymore and they know it.

[–]Pazuzu 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Education of the youth needs to be fundamentally changed.

[–]PierceHarlan 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is the go-to rhetoric of college students and feminists who are held to no standards. If an outcome doesn't go your way--blame it on sexism or racism. The working people of America have had enough of their moral superiors on the left lecturing everyone about how evil they are just because Democracy doesn't always give them exactly what they want.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

All over the place I'm seeing things like this. Whether they single out men or not.

This is the problem in society. Their attitudes come from a "I'm morally justified in my stance, therefore I can say hateful, ignorant, generalizing things. I'm fighting against 'oppression/white supremacy/whatever'!" That only justifies the behaviors of the people they claim to oppose. And then violence happens, and that further justifies both extreme sides.

And then everyone else, the majority, is lumped into one or the other side to justify the behavior. "look at the huge problem!"

sigh It's a shame people think they're not being hateful when they say things like this. That they think it isn't creating more problems the way they think, speak and act. But they think they are on the "right side of history", so anything goes I suppose.

I didn't vote at all, not even sure if I'm registered. However, I've seen in the last 24 hours; many, many, many times all Trump supporters being called, racist, sexist, bigots, you name it. And the only reason they have for why these people, these strangers, are all these evil things are because they voted for Trump.

And they see no problem in this. They think they are preaching love and understanding. Insanity.

[–]zap283 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I mean, are you going to argue that Trump hasn't said a large number of horrifyingly racist, sexist things? I think it's valid for those members of groups that Trump himself says he wants to victimize to ask Trump voters what was important enough to sell out their safety and equality for.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If people were simply asking "Why did you vote for Trump? What issues matter to you?" There would be no problem But that is not what people are doing, nor is it what I referenced in my comment.

So, are you going to ask a relevant question to my comment? Or should I just assume you're not worth my time?

[–]SRSLovesGawker 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah yes, the revolutionary fervor of your average Halifax, Nova Scotia resident. Truly a fearsome thing to behold.

Quake before its might, mortals, for you have unleashed the wrath of the bluenoser!

[–]Rockbottom503 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fuck her and people like her; the voting of trump IS the revolution!

[–]kutuup1989 0 points1 point2 points 9 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. All over FB and Twitter currently.
