This is an issue at the heart of journalism today. Some think journalism is at its best when it is rooting out corruption or advocating for one thing or another. Some think journalism is at its best when it only supplies the closest approximation to truth, or 'here, this shit happened and here is what we know.'

These two goals do not mix well.

So here we have an organization which officially pursues truth journalism, but reaching out with feminism-based advocacy journalism when it sees fit.

Organizations can do both, it just needs to be clearly separated and marked.
