In Canada the change I’d first like to see is necessary to fix most other problems: amend the Constitution act of 1982 so that men have the same protection from sex discrimination as women.

Once that’s done we can go after specific discriminatory policies and legislation.

I'd like to see domestic violence treated as a human rights issue, ie every human should have the right to safety in their own home. It never cease to amaze me that this desire is considered radical.

Men need to stick up for other men. That's the main thing that needs to happen. Whenever a woman does something bad, there will be hundreds of people in a comment section to defend her but when a man does something bad, Men just abandon him.

It's a "First they came for the Jews" problem where men think that if society just gets rid of the "bad" men then the rest of us will be fine. That's not the case. Once the mob cancels someone (almost always a man) they find another male target to destroy.

And this keeps happening over and over again because men won't speak out against it. Some of it is fear of the mob, some of it is an internalized self hatred but a lot of it is just cowardice.

Equalize the draft.
Ban all non medical infant male circumcision.
Close the criminal justice gender gap.
End the preferential treatment that women get in divorce and family courts. Start all child custody negotiations from 50/50 by default.
Abolish no fault divorce.
Establish accountability for child support to make sure that money is actually going to the child.
Reform the institution of marriage.
Affirm due process protections. Punish false accusers severely.

Just a few I can think of off the top of my head.

A minister for men.

A big problem is that their is nobody in government that has the responsibility for men's equality and wellbeing. Having someone to provide expertise and co-ordination and to be responsible for making improvements would be a great start.

Equal child custody laws (look up the National Parents Organization if you live in Canada or the US)
General reform around child custody and child support. I'd like to live in a world where a man (or a woman) can ask for custody, reliable get it, and then not be on the hook for child support. So long as they share custody equally, anyway (why should the man take on 50% of the parenting duties, but 75%+ of the financial responsibility? You should only pay child support if you refuse to be a parent.)
Divorce law reform -- a so-called "default prenup" that people could optionally opt out of.
Reproductive rights for men equivalent to what women already have
Equal treatment under the law for sexual assault
Equal treatment under the law for domestic violence
I'm not sure what you'd pass for false allegations, but I think this is something that could be dealt with on a statutory level
Education reform. Better opportunities for men who want to go into higher education and better "male friendly" environments for men in primary education, especially when it comes to teaching.
More healthcare spending and research for men: address the life expectancy gap, and provide better insurance coverage for men who are expected to earn money for women at the expense of workplace benefits.
More research into men's mental health. Currently the industry focuses on women and tries to force men into treatments and paradigms that don't work for them.
An end to routine infant genital mutilation

In addition I think some "general" (non gender based) reform would help:

A shorter work week and better work environments. We should try to put more women in the workforce. But if women ultimately refuse to take on that burden, we should make things better for men. Basically, if men are going to be stuck slaving away to earn money for women, we should work on things like better work-life balance and safer working environments. Including earlier retirement dates for men who don't live as long because they've sacrificed their health earning enough money to keep their wife / girlfriend happy.
Subsidized child care, especially under the age of 5. There would be less need for one parent to "stay home with the kids" and force the other one into unreasonable labor expectations to make up the monetary difference.
I'm sure we could do something about homelessness if we really wanted to.
An end to the draft and forced military training (or make it gender neutral).

I think one of the things men lack more than anything is a positive social outlet. Everything nowadays is either for women, or for everyone. Nothing specifically belongs to men. Men don't have a place to belong that is exclusively theirs any more. We need to bring that back. It needs to be done in a variety of forms: men's clubs for sports or hobbies, communities designed specifically for men, and first rate entertainment created for male audiences. It can't be some neutered, "this is for men and we crafted it extra special so they have exactly the message that a group of women want men to hear so they behave a certain way," either.

What individual men can do is make male friends, and organize around that. Create or join your band of brothers. Find things that "work" for you: books, movies, music, games, businesses, and products. Share those things. At work, support the other men. Support everyone, really, but don't forget to support the guys who can't quit their job and be supported when they have a kid.

If you are a woman and want to support men, encourage them to get involved in that "band of brothers." Let them know it's OK for them to go to the men's bowling league or soccer team. It's OK for the guys to get together and play D&D without you. It's important that they are doing POSITIVE things. You don't have to support barhopping all night every night or gambling away every penny at the poker game. If the men in your life are struggling to find somewhere to belong, help him look. Then make sure you give him the time to do it. If you have a son, don't schedule him down to the minute "so he doesn't have the time to get into any trouble" and make sure he has male friends and positive male interactions WITHOUT you around.

More than anything else, all I ever needed to feel comfortable with who I am and to be OK in this world was to know that some people out there wanted me around for something. That I am needed, and more than that, I am wanted and I contribute to something positively, and that there are some things that are for me.

As it stands, there are a lot of negative things that are "for" men. Especially right now in the political space. A group of hillbillies strapping up guns to go march on the State Capital because they don't like a thing and mostly succeeding in making people scared isn't really that positive. It is certainly a place where disaffected men are congregating because they had nowhere else to belong.

Remove the requirement for divorced people to maintain their income at the level it was at the time of the divorce. It’s consistent with the constitutional rights of liberty and would fix most of the the issues with family law in one go. Ex wife won’t make a reasonable settlement offer? Okay, I’m not a CEO anymore I’m a Walmart greeter.

I feel that we are explaining more of our issues and there are fewer solutions to them.
A lot of it stems from laws and policies that are so outdated.
Modern feminism isn't helping.
Poor parenting is also a big problem as kids are highly affected by things growing up. Poor parents tend to not expose them to both sides of things, teach them how to fact check what they are exposed to, and a 'My way or no way' mentality.

I don't care what you think about this man, he is the most mainstream person to credibly and academically deny the feminist claim of patriarchy conspiracy theory and also false claim of unidirectional oppression of women in history by men (as a pose to the correct view that it was mainly biologically determined gender roles and everyone was oppressed so to speak)

Why is it important to debunk patriarchy conspiracy theory? Well if it was just a theory, I couldn't care less but its the justification to provide 0.5% of DV funding to men in the UK for example, or 92% of sex specific scholarship to women despite 2.5 million MORE women going to uni per year in America. It has very really world impacts.

Patriarchy conspiracy theory was conjured up by Kate Millet in 1970.... prior to his feminsits blamed capitalism for all of women's problems, Millet suddenly realised, hey wait, actually I can just blame men instead. The Crenshaw invented intersectionality in 1990. This just goes to show how important single people are, and why I dont get why MRAs are sometimes so negative about what can be achieved. The Male Psychology Network has theorised Gamma Bias, to counter the narratice of patriarchy which they rightly say has no place in academia. This could be just as big if it takes off:

I would like men to help each other. Like an international men’s organization we can all join to raise awareness and support each other. Hold future events, marches, guidelines to young man to get help. Older men counseling younger to offer support and guidance. Something like that.
