100% illegal. If reporting then didn't work, make an anonymous report to new outlets until one picks up the story. Not only will the social pressure almost certainly make them correct their disgusting invasion of privacy, but will absolutely force the authorities hands into making them if not. Check if there is a sign or sticker that says electronic recording is going on. Even if the camera is fake, you are meant to believe it is real, thus need to be informed.

Also, take your own pictures of it, then take the camera itself. See how big a thing they make it trying to find out who did it.

Schools are for teaching us, and your school has taught every boy a very clear lesson. Your rights as a boy are treated differently to your rights as a girl. You right to privacy and personal integrety are not going to be protected unless you stand up for those rights.

As in all lessons, you should use this example as a beginning to a more broad examination of how the rights of boys and men are treated in your community. Are your legal rights given appropriate attention by the gatekeepers to the legal system (the police and other authorities)?

I remember they announced they would do this at my middle school during lunch and everyone screamed and was against it, even making fun of the administrator that recommended it. I don’t think it happened (I don’t use the boys bathroom cuz I’m a girl) because no one talked about seeing any but it was so weird.

It was especially creepy too because it was adults telling us this and we were very creeped out by it and some kids even screamed pedo. I’m so against it, especially cuz cameras aren’t gonna stop anyone from doing something bad cuz they can just do it somewhere else.
