Does any know exactly how one is meant to do this? Or should I say how do feminists expect you to do this. Lets face it, it's not like checking the oil in your car, is it? We're not built with a 'Privilege Meter'. I get that they argue that white heterosexual males are the most privileged group in Western society, but that's a very superficial view. There are so many other factors involved in how "privileged" you might be as an individual, like, social status, health, class, wealth, education, intelligence etc. Not ALL white male heterosexuals have life easier than ALL people that aren't of that group, that would be a ridiculous generalisation. So, as a white heterosexual male that's asked to 'check his privilege', what exactly is my frame of reference?
