What state are you in?

Several clubs in New York, New Jersey and Colorado have been sued over "ladies night". I would think this would legally be quite similar.

There are a few lawyers out there who just love suing nightclubs for this sort of thing.

Depending on the state and the particulars of the liquor license they have, this more than likely is completely legal (except the part of minors drinking while inside). Most places can allow 18 to enter a bar and 21 to drink and may just have to keep minors away from the main bar area (again, depends on your state's laws). And as far as keeping out men that are under 21, that's really their prerogative. It's personal property and they can basically refuse service to whomever they please. I've seen places where I'm from that you have to be 24 to get into, again perfectly legal. Calling age discrimination really wouldn't help here, unless you are willing to spend a crapton of money to a lawyer to fight a nightclub about something which will likely be laughed at by a judge, and in which case you would probably be 21 before the lawsuits ended anyway.

I know it sucks for you, but seriously if it's a place that doesn't want you there, why waste your time anyway?

The 18-year-old girls are there as bait/prey for the older men. I'm sorry for you that you're kept out of the bar - but sorrier for them, that they're in there without their age-peer buddies. Creeptastic.

Bars usually keep out younger guys, because they traditionally (from about 18-20) act like it's the first time they've ever been in a bar, every single time they go out. They spend less money and are there to be loud and start fights.

While I agree that it's bullshit, I believe that an owner of a private establishment should have the right to choose who is allowed in their establishment and what goes on within it.

The law we should be changing here is the drinking age. This is sexist and warrants a suit, but it doesn't warrant calling the police.

As far as the women part, they have certain qualities that make other people want to be around them. Is that wrong? Yes.

Not legally... your school has grants from the feds that have rules regarding strict gender neutrality.

Talking with the bar manager will make you look like a touble maker, because you will be, but they just might stop the girls from going in.

If there is underage drinking going on in the bars, report them to the authorities.

You might even prevent some false rape accusations ensnaring some clueless dudes.
