The statistic feminists typically use is 2%. There's a whole lot of problems with the study they use. Most other studies say 25% and up. I've heard that the percentage is higher when you start looking at the military. I've heard that the competitive nature of military ladder climbing is why it happens.

I think many criminals, rape and others, will be found to be innocent as they are tested with better scientific methods. But saying it like it’s mostly rape from false accusations is inherently wrong. Men could have been in jail for 30 yrs. and methods used were believed to have been the best at the time. Even 15 yrs ago, dna testing was not an exact science. If a woman was raped in a home invasion, and the police rounded up suspects, and they were identified, that doesn’t mean she accused them falsely. Rather she identified them mistakenly and the evidence also indicated they were guilty.

I watched the Netflix documentary about accusers who were sent to jail. And the one girl Emma mannion, made my bs detector beep like mad. Her voice was conversational, almost cheerful, and there was nothing in her body language that showed the shame of sexual assault. Of course, everyone reacts differently, but there is always a tenseness, and sound to the voice that conveys that fear. She simply had none of that. I think she is someone overlooked who is willing to get attention in any way. (She’s really fat).

With cameras everywhere, and better ways of testing, it will be harder to commit SA, harder to falsify it, and machine learning will make it easier to detect lying. But for many people in prison, it may take years, if ever, that they get retested with modern techniques.

I was reading a study days ago and got the impression that they use official data to reach conclusion. As for example, to see if there are indeed false accusations, they look for cases of people accused of false accusations that were proven guilty.

But this is totally wrong, because suing the girl for false accusations is not only prohibitively expensive but you also need conclusive evidence for her to be declared guilty (basically a video of her confessing to her lie or a video contradicting her claims).

My BS meter pegged out on EM. I have to get it recalibrated after watching that show, but I feel for women who are sexually assaulted and not believed because I have gone through it myself many times sadly. It isn’t “acceptable” to go to the police for sexual assault…. That is the plain hard truth. It is still a man’s world. I wasn’t willing to revictimize myself each time or be a martyr, because sexual assault and rape is already such a confusing, sad and lonely event (crime) to have happen to you. They pick the women who they know are too meek or accommodating or afraid to go to the police and file a report. But those men know from my mouth in clear terms, “You just forcefully raped me, so if you ever even look at me again…. I will remind you of that you pathetic excuse for a human being”. I also learned to never trust any man and I never go to bars or parties or even be behind a closed door with a man. Because too many are rapists and you can’t tell who they are until they corner you. That is what life has taught me. I may not have gone to the police but I will never be a victim again. I can see why men required “chaperones” in the olden days. Women ARE NOT the problem. Our society, culture, and how we raise men is the problem. And pornography (which is omnipresent) abuse is the problem. I am no prude but it DOES hurt women and relationship models . It is violent and objectifies all humans. It has no humanity. This world is so far off course that I sit back and watch with heart break. But it is just an illusion, so don’t have despair. Only LOVE is real. Everything else is a temporary creation of our collective mental illness. Be the LOVE that you ARE. We can build a better and kinder dream.
