Feminism is a hate movement

I don't think "feminism is a hate movement". Although they have an alarmingly large number of hateful women as members.

What I do think about them is that they are the wrong people to bring about equality: For starters their name is by definition discriminatory. It's a movement for women. Whilst that was needed at the time, it is not needed as much now. I am not saying feminism should be wound-up, but they should admit they're a women's interest group who only care for "equality" as it relates to women.

Which brings me back to my original point about feminism being the wrong vehicle for the cause of equality. Imagine an African-American rights group called "the White-ists" or "the Caucasian-ists". This is no more absurd than the notion that feminism cares, or even can care, for the equality of both men and women. Equality is a cause that relates to two groups, men and women. Therefore any movement concerned with equality has to represent both stakeholders in this game. Feminism fails on this point. It is a dogmatic position whereby women are always victims (even when they're not) and objective truth can never be used to shift this position. For example the societal pressures on women to be mothers/wives is given extensive concern, and men are blamed for this. But societal pressures on men to be financially successful are ignored by the feminists who are also ignoring women's roles in this societal pressure on men. They have dogmatically adopted the position where all women's ills are directly or indirectly blamed on men.

Their disproportionate concern for societal pressures on women vs societal pressures on men goes to show how they could not give a rat's arse about equality. Intentionally or not feminism has become a supremacist movement, the antithesis of equality. Men and women need one movement with an inclusive agenda to bring about equality. Feminism is too corrupt to be that movement.

I discovered that man hate from feminists can turn to choice-lesbianism. It sounds really bad, and it is.

I have know a few women who feel that they are so much better than men that being in a relationship is a waste because a man is not capable of understanding women. At least 5+ when I was in post-secondary and I met one when I worked at Starbucks in 2004.

I really don't know how to feel about this, and I confronted one of the women who was a mega-feminist. Her response was "Women have taken bottom rung for long enough and the second a bit of gender bias against men appears you start complaining. Women have been oppressed for millennia! So suck it up."

I told her that any openly oppressive action should not be condoned as okay. I don't think it sunk in.

Feminism started as a movement designed to bring about equality. Don't however, confuse this movement which helped gain women equal voting rights with the movement we see today. The feminist movement has indeed evolved into a hate movement.

Thing is, women today pretty much have equality. In fact, many MR advocates will be quick to point out that they have rights which exceed equality in certain cases. If a certain group of people has equal rights, what happens when they keep pushing for more rights? They gain rights which exceed equality. For this to happen, the other groups in society (in this case, men) must lose rights, either in terms of losing equal rights which they previously held, or losing rights comparative to the other group which is gaining rights (i.e. women gain rights neither men or women ever had, but men have now lost rights because they have less rights compared to women, rather than the fact they lost rights they previously had).

So we have a situation now where men are starting to be deprived of their rights by feminism. In addition feminists are manipulating the fact (e.g. gender wage gap, DV figures ect) in order to do this.

So we have a movement that is depriving another group of it's rights using lies. This sounds a bit like a hate movement to me, what do you think?

Also, please don't confuse women who care about equal rights and call themselves feminists with the political lobby groups and women's organisations which actually drive the feminist agenda. Most of these women are simply slightly mislead into thinking they don't have equal rights. While its true these women are not hate mongers, the people and organisations which actually effect change are.

So while many people who identify as feminists are good and decent they just make up the body of feminism. The hate mongers how ever make up the head of the feminist movement. And this head contains a dark cancer which must be destroyed. Yet if you destroy the head of an organism the whole organism dies. This is why feminism needs to die for men to redress the inequalities we are seeing today.

This makes no sense. If feminism is a hate movement, then so is the mens rights movement (i.e. neither of them are). Everyone just wants fairness and equality, let's not focus on the hateful extremists and then call an entire movement hateful.

The KKK is a hate movement. Feminism, at it's core, is a progressive movement for equality. There are angry and outspoken members, just like in any group, that are the best at getting media attention, and the best at giving opposing groups fodder for complaint.

Might as well say Islamic religion is a hate movement, rather than acknowledge that some insane extremists are giving Islam a bad name.
