The title is "his". I don't see how that does or doesn't suggest much of anything honestly.
Grammatically correct or not, it's outdated usage in this context is insulting. Is it a men's rights issue that needs to be protested, actively pursued and corrected? Nope. Like I said in another comment, this post was humorous at best. A lot of folks have commented about frivolous whining but I feel that's being displayed in the comments here more than anything.
What if a loan/credit/mortgage/job/whatever application had an FAQ section that used "his" in this context? Would that be acceptable even though it's grammatically correct?
Actual men's rights issues? Care to elaborate? I'm aware of what NCP stands for but the convenient use of "his" rather than "their" is intentional. I wish I would've taken a photo of the application I filled out in person after the online application didn't go through (it was too confusing that I, the NCP, filled it out and not the mother). It had questions like "FATHER'S last known address", "FATHER'S last known place of work", FATHER'S criminal history", "FATHER'S drug history", etc. Are those gender neutral as well?
An issue for men's rights is still an issue, even though you may not be able to relate first hand. I've been physically and emotionally abused by my son's mother for 3 years and counting. And this convoluted process that was forced upon me was very emasculating.
You're right, I don't have evidence. Although you may be able to find it online if you're so skeptic. I don't care to invest the additional time for someone that feels "his" is easier to read than "their". I mean, you can't even be bothered to capitalize. Or elaborate on what you consider worthy of men's rights. Keep doing you, Jessica.

Outdated was definitely what I was suggesting here. Thanks!
