This bullshit has been around for decades, apparently the only people who can be racist and sexist and white men.

I'm not really sure where it started though, I noticed it first in feminism, but apparently it was already the language in use for any matter involving race. I'm pretty sure that this is some form of Marxist dialectic where you split a group in half and pit one half against the other.

It also doesn't help that Merriam-Webster's Number one definition for sexism is as follows:

: prejudice or discrimination based on sex

especially : discrimination against women

We will never get a fair shake because society accepts the definition that feminism has laid out.

The "power+prejudice" definition of racism (and sexism as well) isn't actually one that you find in sociology or psychology or other academic disciplines. There is a good series of YouTube videos that actually looks into the origins of this "Twitter" definition of racism (here are links to pt1 and pt2), and this YouTuber found that this particular interpretation was only ever stated in supplementary "educational" materials created by activists (which had an obvious extreme ideological bias to them). The science textbooks, journals, etc, all used the common, broad definition, where racism or sexism was something that can be attributed to anyone, and depends solely on beliefs and actions of a person, and not their ethnicity or sex or any other immutable characteristics. So one of the tactics you might use when arguing against these positions is to point to the actual definitions used in sociology, etc.

Your 100% right in what you're saying that it absolves them of responsibility. I mean in reality it doesnt but to them it does. Thats why republicans use "child" as an insult to liberals because thats just childish thought process and the fact that if you cant take responsibility for your own actions and life then you are most certainly, a child. Accepting that we can fuck up is part of being an adult but they believe theyre the most holy thing since the freakin crusades.

Racism is a hierarchal comparison between races but their version of racism allows them to bully or silence people in power.

In my area the government decided to incentivize people of colour before an election because they desperately needed the votes and apparently the POC needed an infusion of tax dollars to prevent them from committing every racist stereotype you can conceive about people of colour. The article read like what I would expect from the worst neo-nazi website but it was my government and not one person of influence said a damn thing about the tax spending or the racism.

While racism induces the notion of hate, sexism, AFAIK, doesn't induce hate or superiority/inferiority. So I wouldn't compare these two words directly.
