I had to create an alt just for this reason. Not that I was ashamed at posting here but it seemed often when someone disagreed with a point I made elsewhere, they'd look at my post history and start calling me a "misogynist" or "incel" or some ad hominem attack, just for belonging to a sub like this.

That will happen if you get anywhere near men's issues. Sorry. One of the larger issues we face is simply getting people to believe we have other issues. Asserting anything other than the orthodox position that all men are more powerful and evil than all women WILL get you marked as aenethema to society.

Most men on here are so because of their custody issues, am I right? If so, then this sub is very much NOT inherently an incel group, though incel issues or almost exclusively men’s issues, some of which do have to do with rights. Do incel not deserve rights? Do redpoll issuess and perspectives not deserve to be discussed?

I was banned from the same sub for posting here. That sub does not have any idea about men's rights. Moreover, they have no business tracking what people are doing in other subs. It is a serious violation of privacy. Reddit should ban subs like that. What upset me the most is this sub is considered as an 'incel' sub. Apparently, a man talking about rights of men is an incel.

Omg. Did your ban message say that the ban was not based upon what content you’d posted and based only upon the fact that you participated in r/mensrights? Did it also say that you could get unbanned by replying to the message with a promise that you would never go back to r/mensrights? I got a similar message except it was from the mods at r/cats and they banned me for participating in a sub about COVID.

same bs happened to me like why is it their business what im doing outside the subreddit? maybe if i was in some weirdo criminal subreddit but mensrights/antifeminist has nothing wrong with them, i guess you aren't allowed to have different points of views from the masses. us men have no right to have our own safe spaces where we are allowed to talk about our problems we just have to bottle it up and censor ourselves as to not offend anyone else.

Yep. Being aware that there are issues men face makes you a threat to the current political hegemony. It's practically a sacred law of progressives at this point that white men are the evil oppressor class, and anyone who challenges that narrative is struck down as a heretic.

Also, mods are often times people who have no real power or accomplishments in life, so exercise their power in online spaces to make up for it. They're also often politically aware, and they know how rapidly their cause can fall apart if dissenting voices are allowed to speak.

Oddly enough I haven't been perma banned from any sub-reddits even after actively posting and commenting on this, TRP, MGTOW and other so called controversial subs.

8+ years on this platform and not a single ban. Since like 90% of the major subs are owned, moderated and controlled by a dozen or so people I suspect that due to my accounts age I've somehow slipped by their Radar 🤣

I guess their "pruning" tools only look for accounts that are relatively new to this platform.

That sub probably promotes echo chambers. If you are even a possible threat to their way of thinking or if you may have the possibility of changing your mind about what they promote there, then you deserve to be banned. It's sad when you realise that a subreddit you enjoyed lurking on bans you for joining another sub.
