A local community sports center recently changed the men's locker room, which was spacious and comfortable, into a "family" change facility. The new men's locker room is tiny little cubby-hole with only a couple of benches. I meant to ask one of the female staff to describe to me what the women's change facility is like. I'm pretty sure it's the same as it was, although the new men's locker room is off the women's, so they might have carved a piece off it to make room.

Even thou i am not affected by this, live in a still sane society, we don't have this gender issues, but it's still infuriating nonetheless, to see how they are corrupting society and pushing men down in the U.S.

I hate the hypocricy regarding this, especially when it comes to people using the wrong bathroom. If you're a woman using the men's room most will not care, if you're a man using the woman's room you will be screamed at, called a creep possibly get attacked even if it was just an accident.

I was at work standing in line alone at the bathroom. The bathrooms are like these right next to each other, so I'm in line leaning towards the wall looking at them just slightly closer to the women's room, and both are occupied. A big woman comes by and stands next to me and angirly tells me "don't you think about getting in the women's room", which I absolutley didn't plan to do I just happened to stand slightly closer to it, I kind of think she could have asked me more nicely but I just told her "I'm not going to, chill". Then a man comes out of the men's room and I go in do what i do then go out, and there the same woman is waiting for the other toilet, I leave the area and hear the door closing, look back and sees she just went into the men's room.

I know it sounds stupid, but I often come across photo's or articles that seem exaggerated, because I have never come across things like this in the Netherlands.

I actually see this as a good thing. In my town there are a few bars where the female toilets are exceptionally well decorated and appointed while the male toilets are strictly functional cinder block style affairs. We're talking they have couches and stuff in there... It's crazy.

So with an influx of perpetually offended snowflakes into the "gender neutral" room men will end up benefiting when the tears start flowing over the non binary oppression inherent in these Spartan toilets.

Id call that a win/win there.

Men's rooms are ideal for easy conversion into all-gender restrooms, for four primary reasons.

Men's rooms already contain toilet stalls and urinals, accommodating everyone by default and requiring basically no modification.
Men's rooms have much faster turnaround for patrons using the facilities.
Everyone bitched about trans people using women's restrooms (including far-right wingnuts like President ~~Bannon~~ Trump).
Because it's a toilet, who the fuck cares.
