Brother, what you’re feeling right now? That gut-punch? That sadness? That’s what happens when a man finally realizes the system he thought he was helping doesn’t give a damn about him. And nothing brings that out like an attempt at a logical discussion with feminists.

You didn’t do anything wrong by wanting to support fairness. You didn’t do anything wrong by believing that men and women could walk together with mutual respect. That was your strength talking. Your decency. Your hope. The mistake wasn’t caring. The mistake was thinking that caring would be returned in kind.

The hard truth is this:

A lot of modern ideological movements aren’t about balance. They’re about power. And they don’t see you as a partner. They see you as a tool, or a threat. You stood up and said, "Men hurt too. Boys matter too." And instead of being met with understanding, you were met with contempt.

Not because you were wrong. But because your existence challenges the narrative that all male suffering is deserved. Here’s the part most men never say out loud: It hurts to realize the people you tried to protect would celebrate if you disappeared. It hurts because you’re still human. Because you still want to be seen. Because you still believe we could build something better.

And we can. But it won’t be by begging for scraps at tables where your pain is mocked. It’ll be by building spaces where men don’t have to apologize for existing. Where strength and kindness can live in the same body. Where being a man isn’t treated like a disease that needs curing. Where boys are raised to carry their fire well, not to snuff it out to make others comfortable.

You’re not wrong for wanting more than macho posturing. You’re not wrong for wanting more than hollow allyship. You’re right to want a way of being a man that’s strong without being cruel, deep without being submissive, and fierce without being hollow. You’re not broken for feeling this. You’re waking up.

And the world needs a hell of a lot more men who are willing to hurt honestly instead of numbing out or selling out. Hold the line. Keep your heart strong. But stop expecting the world that mocked your pain to teach you how to heal it. That work, and that brotherhood, has to be forged somewhere else.

And it will be.

Feminists actions are what pushed me away from feminism. Not realistic but so so hateful yet excuse anything women do such as a mother drowning her son is somehow excused.

I just can't support a group that will always hate me or think I have some special privilege over them.

At most they will tolerate me until I have a different opinion then it's "Men always speak over women" "You wouldn't understand your a man" "Just let women speak on this". My input will never be equal to theirs.

I have a Ph.D. in an education-related field. I've taught boys for the past 20 years.

The women in that post essentially took 1% of cause of the problem and turned it into 100% of the cause of the problem. They hand-picked what they wanted to be the reasons to be, refusing to acknowledge anything that wasn't essentially, "Boys are doing it to themselves."

This is how feminism works.

They’ve made a movement that was originally setup to advocate for equality into something many women now cannot associate with.

Back in 2021 a regular here drew a distinction: those who subscribe to “patriarchy theory” and those who don’t.

Many feminists obfuscate about what “the patriarchy” is. But essentially the claim is thus: a social/political/economic system set up by men, run by men, for the benefit of all men at the expense of all women.

That is clearly what “patriarchy” means. For all the mumbling, it’s clearly how they claim that men are “privileged” and enjoy the “benefits of patriarchy”.

Women who just think there are certain prejudices they need to fight, and certain unfair practices they want changed, but don’t believe they live in this all powerful patriarchy that will always prioritise men can a) be content when they get the change they’re looking for; b) can accept and acknowledge that there are issues that men deal with, that she may have simply been unaware of as it doesn’t challenge her view of the world, or invalidate any of the issues she feels need to be addressed.

A woman who believes in “patriarchy” is quite different. They see men as the ruling class: in Marxist terms, the owners of the means of production and exchange. We are the oppressors. And therefore we cannot be oppressed in any meaningful way. So when you talk about boys being failed in education, or discrimination in hiring believers in “patriarchy” are just going to be dismissive. They either claim these are things that women suffer equally from (if not more so), turn it around to blame the men in this “patriarchy hurts men too” line (how often do you hear “you set it up, don’t blame us”), or just asset it’s a lie and you’re trying to help the already privileged. And paradoxically the last is EXACTLY what feminism does. The wealthy have daughters as well as sons, and affirmative action and “diversity” quotas mean they can slot them into roles in the place of the son of the janitor or linesman, and call it social progress.

You’re never going to get anywhere with a believer in patriarchy theory.

I used to be the same way. As liberal as they come, thinking (indoctrinated) that women have fewer rights than me, don't have the same opportunities or get the jobs. Once I started working I saw that wasn't how it was. I've more women supervisors than men. But what really got me was being treated like a criminal in the anti-family court system, when all I wanted to do was continue being a parent, Father to my children. Instead I was ran through the ringer, had my life, my children, my money, my home, job and everything else stolen from me and told " You don't live here anymore" Had to spend over 100K in their system just to get some rights back and then pay their ransom without the mother having to lift a finger or do anything. Because of that, I'll never marry again, I'll do my best to convince my son and daughters to avoid it, and live life for themselves.

I'm going to use some logic on you here. Men and women are both humans.

Therefore human rights of light to both men and women equally. And female rights are championed ahead of universal human rights, you are living under tyranny.

Everybody knows or at least they should know that women always side with the state over their husbands and their children. This is why you need a strong husband to hold their wife accountable in a way that's still loving.

What we have now is the result of marxist communist influence used to destroy this family, destroy Christian values of objective morality, and replace them with loyalty to a system.

And that's why we're getting flooded with immigrants. Because we are waking up to it and they can't lose their political power.

This ends only one of two ways. Either civil war or bankruptcy.

I'm hoping for bankruptcy.

In the meantime you need to get your values in order, so that you can detect the difference between universal human rights and female rights.

You actually received some really good answers. You were linked a report you refused to read. This report could have helped you advocate for the problem you are trying to fix. You want to spend money on extra classes without knowing what the issue is or reading research. Then you come here and complain, and of course you find support here because this sub loves hating on women.
