A friend of mine just had a restraining order taken out against him in New York. Might’ve been called something else but essentially a restraining order.

I talked to the wife she said he was abusive verbally but not physically. He can’t talk to her or go into his house without a police escort until the hearing. The hearing is several months out. He pays the mortgage on the house.

Lawyer he talked to wanted 25,000 for a retainer. He cannot afford that.
