It's instances like these where the true mentality of approaching sexual harassment possibilities is shown as "guilty until proven innocent" and "shoot first, ask questions later". A reasonable consensus is that unwanted groping and kissing is something that needs to be addressed, though how the respondents are implying that an adequate punishment for inappropriate touching is academic ruin via university expulsion entirely puzzles me. It's unclear (though a possibility) that this girl has even talked to the guy about his behavior, mentioned that she did not want that to happen. For all we know he could be misinterpreting her actions (whatever they may be) as a positive indication, under which his only crime was a faulty interpretation of potentially ambiguous body language.

To be honest most of the other comments in there are similar they just don't do it in that implies that the girl is wrong in this situation.

The top comment is:

Everyone for the most part agrees that she should tell him to stop, then move forward with a harassment case if he doesn't after that. Very few are saying go straight to having him expelled.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't teasingly feel up female friends of mine who are in a relationship. Obviously it has a pretty simple solution in her telling him to stop, but he still sounds pretty damn creepy.

Why don't you tell him to STOP before you go ahead and get him kicked out of college?

EDIT: Jesus people, I just meant because no where in the OP does it say she has ever mentioned to the guy that he needs to stop or that it makes her uncomfortable or that it's inappropriate. It's not her job to do so, but you'd think she would try that before going to the school about it.

Does this make anyone else completely assume the incorrectness by default of those doing the deleting? Like, I don't even read what they have to say when their dissenters have been censored. They don't deserve the brain cycles.

intensely_human, this is a dishonest post. Most of the comments were along these lines. This is a response to the one comment about telling authorities before telling him. Any new comments are from SRS and should be disregarded.
