This is why I despise all modern politics. The misconception is that right-wing women somehow "like men", but it's all the same manipulative shit in a different way.

The left just takes more hands-off approach to exploiting men and giving them regular hate in passing. The right gives shark smiles, chews us up, and spits us out... but I guess we at least get to touch some bewb or get a little 'nani in the process.

In the end, left vs right is an illusion for us men. Just remember who has the most influence in public classrooms and how they're run/who gets psychologically disenfranchised while the others get elevated. It's been happening for decades.

Right-wing doesn't care about men any more than left-wing does. It's just a different flavour of misandry.

Anti-immigrant/racist rhetoric is always aimed particularly at black males/male immigrants and carry the same "they're a threat to our safety" message as feminist rhetoric. The further to the right you go the more similar it looks, with e.g. the "LGBT are pedophiles" rhetoric always depicting gay men specifically and perfectly mimicking the feminist "rape culture" rhetoric.

They're very much against male reproductive rights (the only difference is that positions further to the right are also against female reproductive rights) and in favour of male-only conscription and the carceral state that disproportionally affects men.

One of the main hurdles to men's rights in the current world is that nobody in the political spectrum has men's best interests in mind, whenever it does happen (which is not often) it's usually centrists.

Immigration foofaraws are almost always about one thing: distraction. Which "side" doesn't matter.

Ever read the US immigration laws? They SUCK- you basically spend tens of thousands of dollars and wait most of a decade for a roll of the dice. And from what I've seen, most of the rest of the West isn't any better. And immigration laws weren't handed down from on high; they were created by very human Congresses, and can be modified by subsequent ones- but that would mean losing one of the easiest political clubs your side has to beat the other with, come election season. It also means actually WORKING WITH your political opponents, and we can't have that any more; as much as I despise Barack Obama, I give him full credit for managing to ram the DREAM act through Congress- he at least tried to fix the awful situation.

Although many succeed (obviously) in sneaking in to the country illegally, many also fail- and many die during the attempt. And which sex is it that runs the risks and puts their safety on the line for the sake of money and status?

Right-wing people already agree with other right-wing people about the need to stop illegal immigration, no need to come up with any arguments against it.

Therefore any arguments that come from right-wing against immigration are meant as arguments to convince left-wing people. And left-wing people don't care about men.

Both parties pander to women, but overall the democrats have pushed for more anti-male policies.

Some of the strongest objections to women equally registering with selective service however came from republicans.

Obama and Biden both signed incredibly anti-male Title IX biases (which Trump at least partially rolled back). Biden as senator was the biggest pusher for VAWA. WEEA which has been incredibly harmful to boys in education was pushed by democrats. I believe the same is true of women owned business advantages.

Actually, what i notice most is they talk about preventing crime. PERIOD. Hardly ever hear them focus on women. And if you think the Left ("we love feminism. We live in a patriarchy.") is not gynocentric, then can I move to your planet?

My opposition to immigration stems around how it hollows out male purpose. Jobs are taken and now not only are men competing with women to earn their keep, but now also desperate men from foreign lands willing to work for less money.

It’s a betrayal from the top because they get paid in the form of campaign contributions from the very employers exploiting cheap labor. And in a premodern society there already would have been a revolt against the tribal elders for selling their people out. Deservedly so.

I’ve always seen both the left and the right as gynocentric. The left because they progressively want to empower women, the right because they want men to traditionally protect women. Both are not good, just for different reasons.

To be fair, in Germany, one of the recent right wing talking points was to highlight that female immigrants were more criminal than German men as a counter to the leftwing point that „it is not an immigrant problem, it is a men problem!“. And while brutal group sexual assaults will make the news, so will cases like a young boy being brutally assaulted by immigrants over some supposed „offense“ to an immigrant girl.

People will be people. There alas is not any one side in politics that is free from typical human moral failings when it comes to universal standards and such.

Ideally, we should have more „voting on the issues“ vs voting on a political tribe. In a good political system, that should mean that there is a strong political middle willing to shift allegiance based on the issues of the day, but in many countries, our political systems do not exactly work that well and we instead have an entrenched political class that by and large fails to address issues many voters care for at all…

There are certainly gynocentrists on the right as well as the left. I don't disagree with that.

However, speaking as a libertarian rightist, the issue with immigration and integration of migrant communities is not entirely a misandry issue and nor is it entirely invalid (at least in some instances). Take, for example, the UK grooming gangs issue... that's a mixture of sex, culture/religion, classism (the victims were working class English girls), and most critically, an example of the Rule Of Law being undermined by political correctness/social justice ideology (i.e. the authorities consistently refused to go after the rape gangs because of their ethnoreligious background).

Not to mention, the feminist authorities and elites in the UK literally tried to distract from this question through being outright misandric: one of their favorite quotes to dismiss the grooming gang scandal was "you only care about some victims of sexual assault," which is just a polite way of trying to reassert that the problem with sexual assault is men in general and not a specific ideologically-radicalized ethnoreligious subgroup of men exploiting a systematic failure in the Rule Of Law.

Yeah I don't think the Republican Party cares about promoting family values really. Case in point, at the same time that family courts have got men over a barrel the GOP's marquee cultural issue is "keep trans women out of women's sports".

Like seriously, you could not pay me enough money to care about who the NCAA puts on its athlete rosters. That sort of thing should not be a political issue; focus on actual issues please.
