You seem to have a hard time differentiating "women" and "feminists", you know that? We're anti-feminist here.

You come across like someone saying that the KKK represent all white people so therefore any criticism of the KKK is racism. Can you see how crazy that sounds? That's how you sound when you say criticism to feminism is anti-woman.

Feminism is a religion, an ideology. Every time or thing you can point out they did anything for men, and I mean actually accomplished something, I can show you how it was for women and men were a side effect and actual men were left out.

Look at the rape law change in 2013 that people credit feminism for. The key word used in it is penetration and it is worded so that it implies the perpetrator penetrates the victim. They claim it was inclusive of male rape victims... sure, if they were raped by another male. The wording to specify female rapists on male victims was intentionally left out by feminism.

Feminism is the reason so many people believe the idea of historical female oppression, despite it being highly inaccurate (you thought they treated women bad, just wait to see what they did to boys). It is not synonymous with women’s rights, as much as people like to think it is. Camille Paglia is one of the true women’s rights supporters, in the sense that she supports women’s freedoms, even with the risk of consequences such as rape (she compares how many women should live more like gay men: with a sense of adventure).

There are good feminists out there. However, saying this is like saying there are good nazis. How in the hell could a nazi be good? Because they are disconnected from the history and negative consequences of the ideology, on the basis that “it improved the country”, after being pulled in on the basis that it is beneficial to the country’s economy. Of course, nazism was exposed for what it was and that’s why there are none today (neo-nazis just use the label, but afaik are not like old nazis, and can’t be since they aren’t socialists).

Feminists likes its old history, but it doesn’t realize that the cost of women voting meant a loss for the men who had to be willing to sacrifice themselves to have it. Additionally, once those soldiers started getting benefits, the feminists complained that there weren’t enough women in post-secondary (prior to benefits, it was about equal), so you know what the government did? It established quotas, which sent unworthy women to college. Now, these things aren’t necessarily bad: wanting women to have suffrage and gain higher education. However, it was the implementation of it that was insulting and basically pissed on the graves of the young men who did die in those wars to earn their right to vote.

There are antifeminists who also think women were oppressed in the past but disagree with feminism on the basis of “two wrongs don’t make a right”. I’m an antifeminist because I disagree with the entire premise of feminism, in its views on patriarchy and abuse of the term “privilege” and so on. There’s also just the obnoxious factor of people asking loaded questions when you claim to not be a feminist.

You either bring facts to the table or honestly just stop trying this whole spiel about appeasing feminists/the other side.

We deal with men's issues, those pesky issues that are left as footnotes in "feminist oriented" publications and the media in general. You know how suicide is always an issue if females have a slight increase in ideation but its the norm for males to dominate by a large percentage.

We are here to deal with our issues not appease to a side that takes every chance it gets to scorn males for the sin of being male.

In my opinion the real problem is that the government is anti male, and women who identify as feminist are typically anti male. Anyone who argues that women deserve a lesser sentence than men, or women deserve more rights than men, is anti male. However, there is certainly women who exist who defend males rights and do not hate males. There is a lot of women who are good people, but a significant quantity of women are sexist towards males and it needs addressing. Personally I think that we should send all sexist women to an island that is 100% female population.

I am strongly for mens rights, and don't personally identify as a feminist anymore due to a certain stigma the word has collected over the past few decades.

It was never a good word, it was always about securing entitlements for women. i.e. The vote.

Women got the vote but not the draft, and young men could be drafted until the 26th Amendment without the vote, Feminists saw no inequality in this and feminists as far back as Emmeline Pankhurst shamed male draft survivors in returning to the front -- all while preaching 'equality'.

That said, I don't think that means everyone who wears the banner "feminist" is somehow an enemy of men.

No many are misinformed or misled, many others do it out of personal gratification as it feels good to have an enemy to fight. However, most men and women aren't feminists, and there are strong reasons for that the foremost of which is the sexism inherent in the movement.

Equality is not a zero sum game, however Feminism does not care about equality. Feminist patriarchy theory creates a caste system of "oppressor" (men) and "oppressed" (women) whether you like it or not Feminism has determined that all men are the enemy, you don't care when your enemy is 80% of suicides, you don't care when your enemy is 72% of the homeless, you don't care when your enemy is 92% of workplace deaths, you don't care when your enemy is a victim of domestic abuse.

Feminists have continually acted against equality, swept male victims under the rug, and pushed a narrative built on the idea that men are monsters and women are saints.

and I think it would be good to sort of offer an olive branch to those feminists who are fighting for real issues, and aren't doing so at the cost of mens rights.

I'm willing to cooperate with anyone who actually wants equality, however I will never stop calling the Feminist movement for what it is. I will not lend this movement any legitimacy, as it continues to fight against equal custody, alimony reform, etc. If you want to work on male suicide (ideally without trying to inject your anti-male ideology robbing boys of their voice, such is the problem with the feminist idea that all understanding of gender issues must come through a 'feminist lense') then by all means, I will do the same, but I won't pretend your movement isn't an abomination and I won't forgive it's countless attacks on Men and Boys.

I am going to post my own viewpoint below on things I think feminism does need to fight, and that are valid cause for concern. I'd like to ask everyone to chip in, or even just upvote opinions you agree with to show that we aren't "woman hating misogynists", that we do understand that both sexes have issues, and that it is important for both sides to voice those concerns.

I'd like to see Feminism improve equality by vanishing into the ether, by shutting down it's one-sided "men are bad" ideology we'll have the actual capacity to help people without having to engage a sexist hate movement that opposes doing so. Men and women are better off together, both are better off without Feminism.

Is that really your reason?

Feminism has been putrid scoriae since the very beginning (It started in the 60s and 70s, it was equally garbage back then).... if your reason for rejecting feminism is something as meaningless as the above quoted, I find your motivation very suspect.

I personally think that the wage gap (although not caused by discrimination) does have some validity in terms of professions often chosen by women being undervalued in society.

We've all heard how teachers, nurses, and social workers are paid shit, and those are all female dominated fields. I think that society does undervalue some very important lines of work that women excel in, and that we should demand that these professions get the respect, and pay, they deserve.
