I haven't heard much talk about it, but I think tipping should be a MRM issue. In the USA, a waiter or waitress can make as little as $2.13/hour. Some states have laws forcing the companies to pay more than the minimum, but many states do not.

In case some of you don't know, tipping is an amount a customer pays for a service in some industries (especially at sit-down restaurants), which is supposed to be based on how good the service was. An expected tip for good service is 20% of the bill.

Studies have shown that women get tipped more. They also have shown that women will be tipped more based on their looks and men will be tipped more based on the service they give. I think we can have common ground with feminists here, because I'm sure feminists don't like that tipping encourages women to flirt and try and sell their body.

Honestly, everybody hates tipping. It's awkward for the customer, it makes wages really range for the employees, foreigners don't know what is expected of them, and wages are determined on a lot of things outside of service. The only entity that really makes out is the business, because it's an excuse for them to pay their workers less to make more profit.

Lets make a stand against tipping, which is bad for everybody, and is an excuse for men to be paid less than women.
