Frankly, the real outrage is that Al Sharpton, who coordinated, facilitated, and acted as her promoter, knowing full-well that she was lying the whole time. is today a respected lead in the black community.

I don't mean to get into black-bashing, which is not what I'm about. But Al Sharpton promoted a false rape accuser, and Jesse Jackson gave another one (Crystal Mangum) a free trip to college--after which she murdered a young African American male.

Where does all of this leave a black man who has been falsely accused by a white woman? Something's wrong.

Happy Tawana Brawley Day. It will be a national holiday. National False Rape Accusation Day to be celebrated every year on the date of the criminal's first payment. All false rape accusers need to pay damages. All of them. But let's be fair to these false rape accusers. We need to let them make their payments monthly for a period of 20-50 years. If they need extra case, perhaps Amanda Marcotte can send them part of her profits made from lying about the male sex.
