Hi everyone. I’m very sorry if this doesn’t belong and isn’t the right type of question to ask here. Very new here and trying to learn more about “the market” as far as dating goes.

I’m 26 and have only ever had one relationship. No random hook ups with guys (or girls) after that relationship ended. I recently learned I have a “restricted sociosexual” something...

Anyways... my question is: If a guy was only looking to have sex with you and not build a future, would he consistently spend money on you?

My last boyfriend was my first everything. We broke up after a little over 6 months of being together. I was foolishly excessively jealous of his past relationships/sexual history and I know that took a toll on him. I honored his wish and have respected his decision to end things. But my question is...would a guy who only wanted sex be ok with always spending money on someone he didn’t see a future with? Is this a common thing in dating now? or is this a sign a man sees value in you?

I know I should be old enough to know this stuff but I don’t have a ton of experience in the dating world. I’m somewhat of a hermit so I’ve never been OUT out there.
