I've danced many times, I've refused to dance many times. But I'm so tired that our dating society is so focused on dancing because it's such a female-centered activity. How many male friends do you know who absolutely love dancing? And how many female friends do you know?

Its not like I'm awkward at dancing but I just don't like it. And it annoys the hell out of me that not dancing can be reason enough to not land the girl or to get a very annoyed girlfriend.

Which also made me think of the exact male analogue to dancing: playing videogames or playing football.

How many girlfriends actively do these things with you? And if not I don't know any guy who gets annoyed at her or sees it as a criterium for rejection.

It shows me again that the dating market is so female-centered. Everything always revolves around her. And despite of that most men cannot just get rid of their sex drive and even accept that demand and do all of this shit.

What's your thoughts on this? Dancing has always been a central topic that annoys me a lot. People just moving their bodies and looking like immense idiots.

Just my opinion of course. I'm aware that some people love dancing but I just cannot understand.

Edit1: not to mention the evolutionary implications dancing has. In my opinion it's a huge test from women to test a man's self-confidence. Because as a man dancing it is a massive risk. You can look too female doing so or you can simply be bad at it. And it's also a way for women to show their bodies and get all sexual. It's like a wolf and sheep situation that women love so much. They don't do shit but expect the man to approach.
Edit2: and no, "dancing isn't hard, just losen up and enjoy" really doesn't work like that. I've had a girlfriend who loved dancing and who I went to dance with because usually I don't care too much and just do whatever. But at some point she criticized me for my dancing style and that annoyed the hell out of me.
