Does the average person understand gender dynamics?

I'm going to assume that the "average person" is not a heavy internet user who surfs reddit all darn day. So no. Most people in the world don't think about gender interactions, sex, or relationships beyond more than a fairly basic level. This whole fixation on sex and gender issues and the Red Pill phenomenon is a very small corner of a very small section of the Internet, that's really only of interest to this small chunk of internet nerds.

However, it might be a bit hasty to declare that the average person doesn't "understand gender dynamics." Most people meet other people, date, fuck, marry, and start families. They may not have a 50-page internet thesis on relationships, but they "understand gender dynamics." Maybe they understand it better than people who write internet theses.

This whole Red Pill thing is men who don't get it and never fully understood it all figuring out ways to make the world work for them anyway, and this whole blue/purple pill thing is laughing at the ludicrousness of men who seriously don't get it when it's so obvious to everyone else, and the crazy conclusions those men come to. But honestly, those crazy conclusions are the same things everyone else innately understands, just using 500 words to explain something a normal guy just gets naturally and could talk about with 3-6 words.

Even the outright woman-bashing is something most people kind of innately get (so it's not as big of a deal to them when some woman's a slut or a serial divorcee or lies to men or whatever). A normal person wouldn't rant about that for 500 words. Just 3-6 words saying, "eh." Because they've always gotten it.

I think the average person is at least vaguely aware. Whether they care or not is another story.

Most people, I think, are generally decent. We're all dunderheads occasionally and will make dumb, misogynist/misandrist comments in passing, but it's not the backbone of most of our personalities or core beliefs, nor do we generally knowingly embrace it.

No. There's far too much circlejerk propaganda, and far too much brainwashing that goes on in contemporary western culture for people to even have a shot at it. Go to /r/askreddit and ask them, how do you make a successful relationship. You'll get something bizzarely vague like "communication" or even better: "If you can just sit with your SO on a couch watching netflix, you're made for each other".

No wonder BP relationships fail so often.

When people "wake up", it happens usually as a result of complete and utter life failure. Like, the prime material for learning true gender dynamics are guys over at /r/foreveralone. Because they know that what they've been told does not work as advertised. And they know that sometimes, life just sucks ass, so they're more accepting of the ugly truth.

Guys who can get pussy(any pussy ever, not just the Chads) don't care enough to realize they're teeth-deep in bullshit.

I met a lot of different kind of person in my life. The common discussion between all those groups ? "men", "women", "relationship", "couple", "crush", "cheating". The discussion we are hear are just more open thanks to a focus on it and internet anonymity :)

Personnaly, why I am "obsessed" with this is : 1) rocovering process, 2) try to understand, 3) try to be a better man/bf to never suffered as I did. What about you OP ?

The average person isn't incredibly self-aware, and doesn't put nearly that much thought into these sorts of things.

Consider that Feminism, the MRM, TRP, these are all groups that spawned from the people most interested in their respective topics getting together and talking about that thing. They were all born from the nerds of those ideas.

Now of course groups attract members, so not everyone in those groups now fits that profile. But the vast majority of those people would never have been so involved in [group topic] were there not already a group around discussing [group topic] for them to join.

Many people just live life and barely think about anything. I want to understand everything of importance, and sexual politics is obviously a very important issue. I just want to see the world as it is, and understand how it operates. Other people prefer Instagram, and that's fine.

I think a normal person is roughly aware of these things. However they probably think about other things and don't obsess about them like certain academics, students and people on the internet like those in Reddit or sites like Jezebel and A Voice for Men.
