I was at a yoga class the other day, the teacher was talking about going on a 2 week yoga holiday - she was asked if there was child minding where she is going, she said "well of course my husband will there" ... and the girls started giggling and giving each other knowing nods.

So, this woman was mocking and making an idiot out of her husband in front of strangers.

Those examples that I listed actually come from stories where women told about how they lost respect for their man.

I remember reading a reddit story in relationships written by a woman where her man would come home from a job that he hated and go be alone for about 15 minutes. He was great the rest of the day but he wanted those 15 minutes or so to be alone.

So she creeps up to the door and listens and hears him softly crying to himself in his room. In her own words she said she instantly lost respect for him and doesn't know why. She thought it was weird that she didn't respect him and wanted reddits advice on what to do.

Also if a woman chooses her beta bux to be there to support her and he loses the ability to do so, she will be out of there as soon as her respect for him falls past her personal limit. The limit is a case by case basis so maybe him being unemployed for a for less than a month won't be a relationship killer but for others it certainly is.

Losing your job is one thing. Not having any job prospects after losing your job is quite another.

Crying when your mother dies is not taken as a sign of weakness. Crying often and/or about smaller things is. Crying over what your girl says to you, that'll dry up her pussy instantly.

It also matters what sort of man you are and why she is with you. If she's running the standard AF/BB routine, she doesn't care much if the alpha loses his job or her beta cries. The vice versa though, that will get her looking for other branches to swing on.

I think your not taking into account the intensity of the word respect when the TRP uses it.

When we say a woman respects a man, we really mean she holds him in the highest regard, she views him as the best man she can be with, and a man that will make her feel sexy, desirable, pleasant, and give her the gina tingles. When a man loses his job, moreover in the case of a husband, the wife loses the security she once thought she had, and thus does not hold her husband in as a high as a regard anymore. Will she stay with him? Sure. Will they give him passionate, wild blowjobs? Nope.

I personally think individual women are capable of love and loyalty.

Of course they are.

But many aren't. The whole point is to purge that blue pill mentality that women are superior moral agents, which has been with us since the Victorian age.

Most women won't date terps. You have to remember the stories of terps and their women come from the remaining pool of women who would put up with their antics. Of course they will have a pile of negative stories to circlejerk TRPisms about. They have self-selected for women with deep problems.

I wonder if the women that TRPers are attracted to are mainly like this. I wonder if the ones who believe the woman will lose respect are simply attracted to women who will lose respect if they slip in this way. They are attracted to emotionally indifferent/distant women.

It's like the female alpha for them in a way.

To anyone older, who has a lot of life experience and has known a wide variety of people, it's beyond absurd. I know lots and lots women who support men through mental illness, through unemployment, through physical illness, etc. And respect them, and love them, and have sex with them, etc. It's ridiculous to suppose that something that happens so often doesn't happen--but it's also very sad to think it could never happen.

There are also lots of women who don't practice hypergamy.

But there are women that do--this is where the silly part comes in. The exaggeration is not always that the thing that is being described doesn't happen--it's the biological determinism and the fact that it is claimed it MUST happen.

The mistake is not to say 'this thing happens sometimes' or 'this thing happens regularly.' It is to say that 'this thing ALWAYS happens and ignore the vast number of counterexamples (or explain them away in some ridiculous loop-de-loop of logic).
