as rated by women; In which a male of medium attractiveness as rated by women who are above the 80 percentile of men. (80-20) a "medium attractiveness male as rated by women". Women rating a small population of men better than "true" average.

women by "mathematics"; who has half the population of men above her (50 percentile) and 50 percent of the population below her. A women mathematically in the middle of attractiveness.

as rated by men; In which a woman of medium attractiveness as rated by men who are nearly identical to the mathematical middle of attractiveness. Many more women in the "middle". The "middle attractiveness" woman as rated by men is in the 50th percentile.
