This is just a reaction to women wanting all the power in an interaction, what did they expect? Seems crazy to me but after reading the comments on the ppd consent threads I don't blame guys at all.

It's simple, take her out to breakfast the next morning and keep the receipt. It's subtle, and seems sweet. You can lead her to believe that it's because you are looking for a committed relationship or something, but all you are really after is the receipt with the date and time, don't do coffee have a full on breakfast. And see if you can subtly find documentation that says how long the breakfast lasted. I dunno, maybe find a cute breakfast place, and take a pic with her when you enter or when you sit down, make sure it's time stamped. That way, she can't say "oh, I was scared to tell anyone and went along with him because I was scared. I trying to end the breakfast as fast as I can that's why we were only there for 10 minutes".

After all, why would you have breakfast with the man that raped you the night before?

Sounds like this is only worth the woman's time if the guy is a celebrity or public figure of some sort. If she tries to #metoo Gary the toll booth attendant, she's not gonna much money or attention. Granted, some women will still try but the worst thing she can usually do is turn all your friends against you.

Edit: Also, the recording of her consent wouldn't help you as much as you'd think, which the article acknowledges.

Wasn't this sort of thong predicted by South Park a few years back, and also by a lot of men, and some women who realized that men might look for ways to protect themselves rather than leaving their fate in the grasp of a woman who might whimsically withdraw her consent because she regretted sex the day after.

It's bullshit but not far off from the truth. If I were a celebrity then I'd be keeping all records of consent. If women get their way though, they'll be able to withdraw consent AFTER the fact though so you'll still be a rapist.

I'm not sure how productive that would be considering the fact that a giant chunk of sexual assault accusations involve alcohol iirc.

I've never been drunk or buzzed before but I don't think that's exactly conducive to remembering to whip out a phone and record a consent video. If you're conscientious enough to do all that you're probably sober(ish), and if you're confident enough to film their consent the other person would probably also be sober(ish). And two sober people consenting to sex acts doesn't seem to usually end in allegations compared to the cases where one or both parties were out of it.

yes it has. I have a 24/7 video recorder in my house for this reason (obviously not in the bedroom). Recording her coming and going on her own accord should protect me.
