Well for one... I think that one focused on children would not be screaming from every rooftop that the most glorious thing in the world is single motherhood and that men are suddenly unnecessary accessory in a woman's household.

In fact, it would do just the opposite in broadcasting that a proper male role model in the house is vitally imperative to a properly raised child.

Pro-lifers will say that abortion is already a step from paedi-centrism. But I would say that child abuse and neglect is an even further step. Better for a child to never be born than to live unloved.

Societies which tolerate infanticide.

Societies which tolerate alienating a child from their father due to disliking how he (the father) treated her (the mother). We must separate romantic relationships from familial relationships. It's the only way shared parenting after separation can work.

If the pre-text to alienating the child is something like domestic violence, then the relationship between previous harm to the woman and potential harm to the child, must be established.

Look at traditional Indian social and family structures. Highly patriarchal in terms of gender relations, but young children are treated like royalty in families that can afford it. Even poor parents are expected to sacrifice dearly for their kids and spoil them as best they can.

Indian parents, especially mothers, are expected to wait on young children on hand and foot. This is a pretty clear example of a society prioritizing children over women.

The children are cared for/More funds and energy are being spent on developing and supporting children rather than supporting women.

Okay. Make the case.

One can also make the case that a society that separates a parent from a child doesn't prioritize them, but then they'd have to defend every instance where we condone that very thing. Like how we're fine with separating non-violent prisoners from their children. Or how we're fine with sending soldiers with families off to war.

I'm not seeing how your logic lines up, or where these things relate to your post title.

Simply put? Where the investment of resorces go.

If the resources was really going to the child, then yes. It is for children. If it isn't going to the child as a whole, them is not its priorities.

That is how TRP see the priorities of women. And this applies to anyone's priorities.

Like in your example.

I cannot say in the entire society but in this case, the priority is the child. As proven guilty prisoners are being "reintroduced to society". they've shown, by fact, that they cannot deal with society's rule well. Thus are not good example or teachers of values. And may have psychological variants which are problematic (like a compulsive liar would be in prison by fraud) and a bad interaction to a child. Thus to separate these kinds of people from child make sense.

And if my knowledge of law is correct. If you was not proven yourself to be a danger to the child development (like those in prison because of ongoing investigations) then you are not impeded of being with your child like any other person. Thus it also make sense.

Let me tell you a secret. Most countries first priority isn't children, they are just a way to achieve it. Normally the most important priority of any organization, by its own actions, is its own survival into the future. That is why most countries care so much about children. They are the ones to continue it into the future. The ones to maintain the said country.

That is why countries take debts and print money that will burden our children. That is why schooling is just enough to make an useful idiot. That is why adoption and orphanages have it so hard. And why so many countries do not give 2 shit about protecting children which will not be a threat or help its continual existence.

If it wasn't for some population threatening to disrupt the current organization governing, they would not even care about children. They would just kill them, laconic style. (That is why so many children die in dictatorial regimes)

You are mislead. No governments care about children which are not helping or causing a threat they are an afterthought. That is why many things happen which are against children and in benefit of women. Where women siphon away a child well being without any accountability and some times are creating harm to the rest of society. Because women are at certain aspects a bigger helper or threat to a given government than children are. After all almost any women can create as many children as the want. That is why child support accountability is a joke at best and alimony may destroy a man's baby wellbeing, that is why many families are fatherless and fathers fight in wars. No government ever cared about any people foremost. Its foremost priority is its continual survival in power. And its own benefit as the second. People are the afterthought. Children included.

This means that the society prioritizes criminal punishment over children, but not necessarily one that prioritizes women.

A society that prioritizes women would generally prioritize all women equally, i.e. would never prioritize mothers and women of childbearing age over non-mothers and women incapable of having children. For example, the US gives more benefits to poor mothers than poor women without children so I would say the US is a society that prioritizes children over women.

I don't understand what you think a society that prioritizes women looks like. Maybe you can tell us what you think a society that prioritizes women looks like, and what you think a society that prioritizes children looks like, and i can tell you what i think about that.

Right now, we live in a society that prioritizes women and therefore does not prioritize children. This society (feminist society, gynocentric society) claims to prioritize children, but it does not. Women initiate 70% + of divorces, which destroys their children. Think women give a shit about that? They do not. They care more about their own bliss than they care about their children.
