I actually had a huge post about this before purge week. I think there’s some honest elements of men not wanting to go to therapy and such , but it should never have been called toxic masculinity , it should be called male mental health .

Eh I'm not saying women don't do this but a lot of "toxic masculinity", if we redefine that as men having to conform to certain stereotypes and expectations or they're """not a man""", is also pushed by men (maybe some of them do so to curry favor with women). EG the people who say that, despite wages being equalised and two incomes largely being needed to afford a family, the man MUST be the provider and take a high stress job, MUST shoulder all the fiscal responsibility, MUST do etc, MUST do only [x] acceptable hobbies. Instead of letting men figure that out and choose the path they want for themselves and negotiate it with their future partner (if they choose to have one).

That's the real toxic masculinity imho it fucks with and makes men feel like they are only valued for resources or make them feel like they have to fit into some weird stereotype.

"Toxic masculinity" is a term invented to describe how men put down other men. Feminism has adapted the term to include the ways in which men extend those patterns onto themselves and hurt women in the process.

Most men do everything they to do to get women. "Toxic masculine" behavior such as arrogance and aggression is done because that is what women have been proven to like. The only difference between masculinity and toxic masculinity is whether the man is hot or not.

Since most toxic masculinity these days comes from incels that nobody wants, perhaps you should rethink this.
