I like how women handle conflict resolution. Between men, conflicts are a bit more likely to escalate physically.

The most obvious example happens during sparring, where if one guy loses control (physically or mentally), and the session slowly escalates. It takes a lot of discipline for the situation to not escalate. Seems like a natural thing for guys to do. It happens in verbal conflicts as well.

Even in this ppd sub, I've seen a bp guy suddenly go macho and claim that he gives up arguing and just challenged an rp guy, claiming that he's big and scary and would kick the rp guy's ass. The rp guy responded in kind. (I don't keep history or tabs, so you'll just have to take my word for this.)

This kind of machismo shit is so clownish when looking in from the outside, but even still I totally understand because I've had plenty of instances where the urge towards violence rears it's ugly head. "This guy is so fucking stubborn. He doesn't need logic or empathy to understand. He's just hungry for my knee!"

It just seems to me that the stereotype is generally true that women tend to be less physical, which is a good thing. There are some other negative stereotypes that accompany this positive. E.g. stereotypes that they are too submissive, passive-aggressive, or that they hold grudges longer. But anything can be spun as a negative when taken to the extreme.

Delicate ears be ware of Incoming sexist sentiment: I think while part of it has to do with biology (testosterone), part of it just has to do with the fact that most women have had a lifetime to adjust to the fact that no one is expecting them to be physically strong. I.e. there's less ego, and less people teaching them that, "sometimes, violence is the answer".

I'm not sure if you want positives about the opposite sex or just in general, so I'm going general. I like that I finished the goals I set for myself tonight--I literally just finished and I'm rewarding myself with reddit time. I like chocolate. I like how fascinating and complex people are. I like watching people change and grow into themselves. I like how cuddly and adorable my boyfriend is. I love babies. I love the kids I work with. I like playing stupid games with them and cooking them special meals. I like helping them grow into themselves. I like making connections with people, especially unexpectedly.

Also, I know you're trying to be positive so I am trying to point this out in the most polite way possible, I really don't mean to be critical. But in your OP you are actually creating a he vs. she dynamic, at least in half of it. Your second compliment to men reads as a veiled attack at women. Sorry. I'm sure you didn't mean it to come across that way, but it does to me at least.

My SO is my best friend, I'm so thankful I found him and that we're going to be together foreverrr! creepy smile But what makes him who he is isn't his maleness, he's a good person "on the inside" and I'd love him just the same if he magically transformed into a woman or an alien or something as long as his "soul" remained intact.

I like the fact that most of my friendships with men are topical/based on mutual interests, there's not a lot of interpersonal venting that goes on in my friendships with men which I appreciate because I find stuff like that draining. Most of my guy friends are smart and level headed with a calm and friendly disposition. I like that my male friends are usually willing to talk about difficult or emotional topics without actually getting personally emotionally involved in the subject. I like that I'm able to offer advice to them from a female perspective as well, I've talked male friends through breakups etc. I'm often read as male online and most of my interests aren't gendered, which has resulted in me being one of those girls TRP warns against who has "mostly male friends." I love women and have a couple of sisters and one close female friend, but I've always found my personality tends to be more compatible with guys. My SO is the same way in reverse.

I like how men seem to have less rules of social conduct. I wish I could call it as I see it with other women without being seen as insensitive and not supportive of my friends. There's an automatic expectation of agreement and solidarity when women relate with other women. Criticism has to be done so lightly and underhandedly it's exhausting. I do have some great girl friends I can be frank with, but they're hard to find.

Males share more of my interests than females, and honestly tend to be more interesting to talk to off the bat because you usually need to get to know women more before they'll talk to you about interesting things (social scripts about what it acceptable for women to talk about when you first meet them vs. what is acceptable for men to talk about and all that).

I like how guys are more willing to indulge my really sexual/often offensive humor, I always feel like I'm walking on eggshells around a lot of girls because I don't know who might be a feminist or a touchy liberal. Male liberals tend to be more accepting of my crass humor and like me more for it.

Males have dicks. I'm bi, but I like penises more than vaginas.

I like people who are open minded, who will try new shit with me, who will not judge me for being strange. This applies to friends, FWB, SOs, whatever.

When it comes to specifically to girls I'm looking to have a LTR with, I want them to be kinky (this one is important for FWB too), I want them to not want kids, and I want them to be at least a little nerdy. Most of all I think it's just important we keep each other happy.

though I wouldn't say I like it, I respect the way women show solidarity with each other when it comes to certain political issues. I think if others had that type of organization, the world would be a much better place.

Women are like sports cars. Incredible to look at, fun to drive, but the monthly bill and maintenance issues make you regret your purchase.

In all srs though women are fun and a challenge. Usually they have more upbeat attitudes. They like being dominated which is good cause I'm a sexual sadist.

Women are more likely to have an avid social life and to volunteer. It's a large part of why women live longer than men. Idk exactly why this is but it's something men should strive for

Ok fine. I think women are capable of everything men are. I have a large amount of women I respect on a deep level, not because I should but because they know more and are better at things than I or most people are, and I learn from them.

Most of the things I like about women are very basic, human things like how it feels just to talk with them. You find out more and more about what you both like, you riff off each other.
