I want very badly to be able to be in the position of the pursuer and show pretty much animal lust towards a guy but I still wouldn't want to do that with someone with this mind set because it completely removes all psychological authority from the male.

Its about how men prefer to be valued by women. Men want a woman who'll surrender to him completely, who finds him so irresistible that she just HAS to have him, even (or especially) if it means dropping her panties for him.

Men want to be CRAVED like that, they want to inspire female lust and desire. If a woman is making a guy wait for sex it almost certainly means he doesn't inspire that kind of immediate, burning desire in her.

The less sexual experiance people have the more they seem to stress over its significance.

We ARE animals. We are animalistic especially when it comes to basic functions. Its the old feed, fight, fuck. That is the very core of our being. Everything we have done goes back to that because as soon as you lose that edge, someone else will take it from you.

Our brains though, are beyond this, at times. When I see a very attractive woman and think sexual thoughts my brain is giving way to the animal. In my situation, there is no benefit to me beyond the animals screaming to reproduce.

So we make up structures in our minds about this. Theories, plots, cute sayings, all to add some sort of meaning to the fact that we are animals who's bodies want to feed fight and then fuck. (Perhaps women are more feed and fuck, but it changes nothing).

I think we try to justify our natures when I believe the best way is making our genes happy, at least as happy as possible, in the framework of our self awareness.

If your genes are happy, and it doesn't cause other issues which would make other aspects of life more complicated, then its ok.

So for women, if you want to fuck the guy, fuck the guy. We live in an age of birth control. If you want to have a LTR with the guy, get to know him first, you will run into assholes, some you can't vet until after you have a relationship. Datings job is to filter out the no's until you find a yes.

You seem to be coming at this from the perspective that ultimately men want a relationship. Men want sex, they get stuck in relationships. In fact, men want sex so much more than women that a man's sex is worthless in the sexual marketplace because supply is so much greater than demand. I don't mean all men, but most men. But on the flip side, a relationship is a net negative for a man. Again, not all men, but for most men. So many men are just looking to hook up to meet their sexual needs without the burden that a relationship brings. Dating is a hassle too, so when a woman makes a man wait for sex, it's not worth it compared to the effort the man has to put in.

The problem appears to be that you are misunderstanding what "pill takers" are telling you. It isn't that they are desperate for sex from ANY woman, it's that they will accept sex from any woman, but they want sex from specific women.

That's not a marketing idea, that's an idea in economics. And the premise is that, there are two basic ways to deal with a situation where demand is higher than supply. 1) increase the price which will reduce demand due to affordability, and 2) Increase supply to meet demand. The problem is, sex is a inherent drive within the human male. It's almost always wanted, almost always perceived to be needed. And it isn't just because biology, it's societal as well. I know a 33 year old man who just never focused on relationships in his life. He focused on careers and hobbies, dated a few girls, but never had sex. At 33, he now is seriously wanting a family, but when women find out that he's a virgin, they usually break up with him. It's sad. Essentially, in our society, sex has become a need for men. So increasing the price is not an option, which means that you need to increase supply. If you increase supply, the value of sex won't go down, but the demand will be met.

Sex is nothing, for women. It's a night, a couple of hours. For men, it's something, and will always be something. And that's the problem, the problem is that there is a commodity that has 0 value to one group of people, but has value to the other. In the past, there was dynamic, men often obtained sex through other means, means which are now considered unacceptable in our society. And there is nothing wrong with making those means unacceptable, but the scales need to be balanced. If you are going to take one group of people's power away, then you need to make them not need that power at all.

It feels like you're trying to make this leap:

Animals feel hunger.
Men feel hunger.
Men are animals.
Men have no agency about what they eat.

And you know that this is obviously flawed. We all HAVE TO eat but we still have a lot of choice.

If you want to be a reasonable adult you'll have to start accepting that while men have to have sex it doesn't mean they have no choice/agency/decision power.
