I'm convinced a lot of you have never been in a relationship. If you genuinely believe that there is no difference between having repeated sex with a partner whom you love and cherish, and banging 100 bar sluts, then you're terrible inexperienced in relationships and the real world.

I wouldn't even consider the two on the same page as one another.

There's a major difference. The person with 100 one-night stands will have a much lower ability to pair-bond and be satisfied with limiting themselves to one person in a committed relationship. The novelty of meeting the 101st person will not be as exciting for them. Might not be interesting or exciting at all by that point.

There’s absolutely a difference.

These people always reduce sex to a purely physical act. Penis going in vagina. That’s the red flag: if sex is only physical to you, then yes, it’s the same. Doesn’t matter if it’s one person 100 times or 100 different people one time.

These are often the same people who settle down in LTRs and then end up with a dead bedroom because “sex isn’t a big deal” and they “don’t really need sex” and “just masturbate, it’s the same thing.” They view sex as purely physical, so when they get into an LTR, it’s not a big need for them. They separate it from intimacy completely.

They cannot comprehend the emotional connection that some people feel during sex. Those of us who do feel an intense emotional connection often have zero desire to fuck that up by sleeping with multiple people. It’s too intense/messy.
