No man can know what it's like to have a women's sex drive and attraction mechanisms. Is that not the point why they made TRP? So that they figure out how it works in theory?

We can figure it out by women's behavior and words.

It doesn't mean that men can understand what the experience is exactly like however.

In total, (and this is a philosophical issue) if you say there are genetic differences between people, then it would be extremely unlikely that two people experience the world in the exact same way. Therefore, you can't compare them without taking this into account.

What makes you say it's not taken into account?

I can believe that men and women are different in some important ways, but not believe that they are different in every way.

The argument from the other thread was that women are so unattracted to unattractive men that they would never, ever, ever consider sleeping with them. Just like a straight man would never, ever, ever consider sleeping with a gay man. But women can and do sleep with men they consider unattractive -- they have one night stands they regret in the morning, and marry guys they aren't attracted to because they feel like they need to settle. They have standards, but those standards are not written in stone and ironclad under all circumstances. In this regard they aren't that different from men.

Note that -- again -- thinking that men and women are similar in one way does not in any way imply that they are similar in all ways.

it's like saying that since british people look all different one from the other you can't generalize on their appearances. ok, but I doubt you will ever find an ethnic british who looks South Asian or East Asian or Equatorial African.

While each individual experience is different due to a number of factors (environment, childhood, events, etc.), the general male experiences and female experiences can collectively be understood and averaged.

There are differences even the subset of male experiences (and female experiences), but that can all be accounted for by factors such as physical attractiveness, race, etc. For instance, a short Asian man is going to have a much different experience than a tall White man in the United States. But such differences generally affect a person's opportunities (more or less). It's pretty easy to delineate a general outline of the male experience vs. the female experience.

Man this post needs to be translated in plain English (or my IQ is way lower than I thought).

Are we arguing that in our pursuit of mutual understanding between the sexes, we must do more than simply give an anecdote and switch the genders within said anecdote?

Or that the majority of commenters within the past couple threads are so solipsistic that zero mutual understanding has been made? We're just yelling at each other, not talking?

No, this is not the point. The point is women's sexuality does not work as traditionally advertised. Women do not choose men based on who is a gentlemen or kind to them, they choose men based on who they are sexually attracted to. This is why we have the nice-guy and asshole dilemmas.

The goal of understanding how female sexuality works is not the core issue, but of course an important one.

...you jumped the gun here. If one agrees that no man can fully understand what it's like to be a woman and have female drives, that does not mean every woman must experience attraction a different way. Those two ideas have no logical connection.

I'd also point out that not being able to "understand" an issue is not the same thing as "getting it" on paper. I think most of women's problems in the SMP and natural drives are borderline retarded and self-destructive in practice, but I have no difficulty understanding why mother nature gave it to them in theory.
