OnlyFans is essentially a multilevel marketing scheme. There's a few degenerate women who make money off it then go on to promote it as 'empowering' and 'freeing' (obviously because it benefits them). This influences girls, sometimes as young as 15 if not younger, to go on this site and sell nudes to people in order to make money. Now most of these people won't make any significant amount of money and the ones that do are often just using the site as a front for prostitution. All of this is completely ignoring the mental health aspect of it where most of these people obviously are not in a good place or even mature enough to make the decision. OF knows this but doesn't really care because they take a percentage of the revenue for basically no work.

I have some sympathy for the young girls who get into it because they are brainwashed by other women that it's what they should do. Adults who get into it, don't make money then cry about how they were taken advantage of I have no sympathy for.

Nothing sensational. The only reason why the manosphere and conservatives are upsetti spagetti with OF is because the money goes to women and not to a Hugh Heffner or some other Harvey Weinstein. There were prostitutes and courtesans FOREVER. Brooke Shields posed for playboy nude at the age of 10. Passport bros dick down South Asian teenagers for food. The thing is that when men have discretionary income they want to spend it on the thing they value, sex. The only outlet for that here in the states is OF. We don't have soaplands, pink salons, blowjob bars, etc. Its no surprises that OF is so dominate when there's so little competition.

Don't understand the appeal. Porn and nude photos are free. And if you want more, there are parts of the world where prostitution is legal.

Even strip clubs are better, and even those aren't great. Still better than OF.

No disrespect to the creators, though. If they're successful and making money, more power to them.

I dislike the explicit valuation of women as "young+skinny+beautiful" equals higher dollar value. I reject the premise that women are most valuable when they're existing in the most male-preferred state during the biologically tiny window it's available to us.

However, as another comment pointed out, Playboy has existed for decades and courtesans long before that.

So what I like about it is the opportunity women have to monetize the male gaze. If men expect us to perform sexual labor for them (and yes, taking a nude you'll later shame us for is labor), women should be compensated fairly.

In all, neutral. Wish it didn't have an audience, but the world sucks.
