The premise of my topic is pretty simple, and the reason I bring this topic up is because both pills don't tend to talk about it much. Even though I think it makes a very important point.

I think that both pills kind of have it correct, but they're talking about different people. Bluepill likes to say "Just be yourself, be a genuinely good guy, show women that you respect them", and so on. This works... but only if you're attractive. Of course it would make sense for girls to want someone who treats them well, but not if he's an uggo! Hot guys are hot, and can afford to be a "nice guy" and get away with it. Most have some alpha traits, sure, I don't deny that. They project confidence and generic leadership. But beyond those basic traits, they can be simpering romantic pansies and still have find happiness with a beautiful girl because inherent physical attraction (height, jawline, eyes, etc) is the #1 determinant of whether someone likes you. Makes sense evolutionarily too, because it shows that your genetics are good.

Now let's look at the guys on the bottom of the totem pole. The ugly guys. The short guys. The low-testosterone guys. When they try to act good-natured and nice and genuine and respectful to women, they come across as groveling servants - because the sexual attraction is missing. That is the key that they don't have. So for these guys, RedPill is necessary. They need to bulk up in muscle because that at least provides a semblance of genetic fitness (kind of tricks the female subconscious into believing he has good strength genetics even though she consciously knows it has nothing to do with genes). They need to be aggressive and overtly alpha at social events, because this selects for the small subset of girls who are willing to let their desire for status override their desire for looks. These guys need to play psychological games, which is the last resort of getting someone to desire you. It's the only way these guys can get sex and relationships.

That is why I feel like I need theredpill. I'm not attractive. I'm very short, 5'5''. My ethnicity is a much-maligned one, society sees us as funny accented call center receptionists and skinny gurus. I don't have naturally high testosterone. I have no experience with women because I was obese throughout my teens. So I absolutely need to play these psychological games that TRP advocates, because otherwise I'd get 0 pussy and die a virgin.

Tl;dr: Both pills are kind of correct but they shoot over each other's shoulders. Bluepill is correct that being respectful/genuine can win over a girl... if you've got the looks to create sexual attraction in the first place. Redpill is correct that playing psychological tactics and all-out-war method will net you women... if you're ugly (like me) and this is literally your only option for some kind of romantic relationship.

Change my view please. In either direction, I don't care.
