She is not the star draw and she knows it - she has been in the business her whole life and taught by her dad, one of the best directors of all time, so she should know this.

She doesn’t get equal pay because the movie can easily be made without her. Pratt’s career made him the primary draw soon after this movie as his career took off. He could be replaced, but only by someone that could draw the same or more while she doesn’t even need to be in the story at this point. Essentially, they aren’t going to pay her more so he should take less to make her feel equal??

She is equal, but not in box office draw which is what they get paid by. Stay behind the camera Dallas, you’re better there anyway.

In her defense, this is the kind of comment that could easily have been twisted / taken out of context by media for clicks. I fully believe that's exactly what this is. It's that level of absurd to imagine she could think she's even in the same league as Chris Pratt and deserving of anywhere near the same compensation.

People are not going to movies she happens to be in to see her and could have been replaced by any number of people with no impact on the final product or its performance at the box office.

There was a similar attempt at this a few years ago, I can't even remember who or what film. But, it was then that I found out that most of the big actors negotiate their pay, it's not like they hire them and say this is your salary. People then looked into her claim and yes, she was paid less than her two male co-stars, but when you broke it down into days worked, like how long they had to be on site for days of filming she was paid more per diem because she had to work less days. So was whining she wasn't being paid as much gross when she had less work.

you know why i dont care about anything form hollywood be it music, films or whatever? because its all about neopotism and a social class and hierarchy as if its the aristocratics or medieval times. thhere is an interesting video i found once on youtube about the nepotism topic in media. i thought that i knew it all, but there is maybe not a single actor or famous musician or any other kind of entertainer who is not a product of nepotism. many have uncles that write some scripts do director or cuts or whatever in the filmbuisness. its not because they are good and hardworking actors. its simply because they have some familyties footstep in. you get only feed with the movie and media junkt they dictate you from up to down. and this people are so far from reality that they still complain about their life. i despise such people.

we have times of big inflation and energy prices on the rise. many people have alot to suffer in the next years and dont know how to feed themself or even family. and than we have such asshats like her complaining like amy schumer that they only got millions instead of billions.
