“Asking for validation” and “exploring my feelings” are essentially identical in your case based on your post history. You ARE asking for validation because you want other women in a similar situation to chime in and act as a support group for you, hence the “I wish I didn’t feel this way”. This is very obviously an emotional call for help, and in case it isn’t obvious, no forum or website will give you what you need.
I saw in your comment history you basically refused therapy because you live in a rural area, yet you’re using the internet. And since this is 2022, and we just went through a global pandemic where we couldn’t leave our homes, I’m sure you’re aware online therapy exists. You have resources to help you, yet you continue to post on Reddit about your, honestly, fucked up issues, as if we can help.
And just for the record, your post history also suggests you’ve increasingly indulged in these memories and/or fantasies. It’s very transparent what you’re doing. The run down is simple. You forgave your husband for cheating on you — you stayed in your marriage “for the sake of the children” — you turn to internet strangers instead of professionals for validation because you probably would rather fantasize about how dearly your cousin loved you rather than rekindling your marriage completely.
Passion is a choice. Love is a choice. Get up and fucking do something about it to help yourself instead of ruining the subreddit with weird questions about incest.
My mother in law married her cousin, they were both widowed and had obviously fell in love, they didn’t want to say anything until me and husband pointed out there isn’t any risk of genetic deformities even if you were to have kids and it’s legal in over 50% of states I believe. To have incest be an issue it has to be multiple generations, and even then it’s a toss up. I knew a woman who was raped by her father and had the baby and her child was fine, I’m not condoning this but it’s just an example that it isn’t as crazy intense as people think, is it bad to do on the normal? Sure. My mother in law got married and they are very happy (they obviously aren’t having kids, they are in their 70s), they kept thanking us profusely for our support and making them feel comfortable to express their love. If you have feelings for your cousin and your cousin is into it, by all means go for it, you only live once.
You sound like a hateful person and a bigot. I’m coming from acceptance, love and being a kind, supportive person. I support others when they do no harm, as should you.
Sounds like you got a lot of feelings on what others should do and the ideal situation for raising kids. I hope you find your happiness, I really do. Raising kids and finding a partner is really tough. There isn’t really a perfect situation, we all do our best. Have a good weekend. By the way, I’m English too, don’t live there anymore but I miss my homeland.

"A girl gave birth to her dad's child, BUT no defects so...."

I literally said that wasn’t an ideal or great situation but I’m just saying incest in terms of birth defects is rare unless it’s multi generational.
