I used to underestimate gut feelings, thinking my conscious brain is much smarter and trusting the "facts". Honestly, so far, every time I didn't trust it I ended up fucking things up. Your gut knows if he's lying or not much better than you (subconsciously you are aware of microexpressions that are signs and so on). So if your stomach says there's something wrong it is almost certain that there is.

But this case is textbook noob lying. Multiple excuses and removing the evidence. Even from that it's clear.

I think you should leave.

Always trust your gut. It knows what your brain doesn't want to acknowledge. Look on the bright side: he showed his true colors pretty quickly; you only had two months invested, which isn't much. Would have been much more painful after, say, two years.

I'm glad you left. A friend of mine was dating a guy but not exclusively. she found a hair tie in his room. He told her it was hers up until they broke up. Then he admitted it was someone elses.

Man here.....yep, he most certainly had another woman in his bed and he betrayed your trust. Hard next IMHO. Consider this a lesson learned. Trust your instincts. Vet better. DO. NOT. TAKE. HIM. BACK. This most certainly wasn't the first time and he was a douche by not acting honorably. However, I did have the experience of getting dumped by a woman that I had committed to because of her suspicions and she had accused me of two-timing her when in fact, I had fully invested into exclusivity and made it official. I was indeed, exclusive. Tough one. Good luck and sorry to hear about this. Women always mark their territory.
