It was interesting to see the areas where Koko and the other two kind of agreed (e.g. about developing yourself first as an individual before jumping into a relationship, but the end goal for Koko was a lot more materialistic and self-centered - it wasn't even about "happiness" but "having lots of money and being independent" as her main goal 🙄).

Also isn't it interesting how Koko refused to say what she does for her BF and to speak her opinion about modern feminism even though she's "very opinionated"? LOL!

I'm familiar with Ally's content, but don't know who the host or the other two women are.

Less than 20 minutes into the video, it made me sad to hear the way Koko speaks about being "just a wife." To her, being a good man's wife is not aspirational, and not a position of honor.

There's a lot to get into and I have some complicated feelings about all the interviewees present, but I just want to chime in that Koko might look unhappy to American viewers, but I think her presentation might be cultural. I'm Finnish, not Croatian, but I don't agree that she looks sad.
Finnish women present similarly; just see any Sanna Marin interview. She's highly successful but also self-disclosed as domestic and is visibly thriving.

Good watch! Koko is a sad woman. I enjoy being my boyfriend’s girlfriend and will be his wife/housewife one day. I will happily rest in my femininity and serve him. Why would I want to stress at a hard job when I can be at home with my kids?

Very interesting. Something that I don't think is touched on enough is the importance of raising children as a housewife.

If you don't want to have children, fine, that's your prerogative. But the need to reproduce is a biological trait that is, in my opinion, inescapable. Having children plays a huge part in what makes life meaningful. Especially for women. That is important enough of a job.

I just had my first child with my husband. Not to sound cliche (wonder why it is such a cliche?), but it's the most amazing thing that's ever happened to us. And I still say that after all the horrible nights and sleep deprivation. The importance of raising a literal human being isn't emphasized enough in the conversation. Raising a child is more important work than any corporate or small business job. It should be put first. We were all children with mothers at some point, yes?

Call it anecdotal, but I know women who work and raise kids at the same time. It looks like hell. I can't imagine leaving my 3-4 month old at daycare while I work, to have my entire paycheck put towards the daycare, just to say I've contributed somehow to society. Isn't raising my son enough to contribute? This can't be good for the children. The idea that I need to work seems misleading at this point. Not if you marry a HVM, budget correctly, and steer clear of becoming materialistic.

I spend my time cleaning, cooking, budgeting, and making my child happy and ready to take on the suffering of the world. That is a full time job in and of itself, as it should be. Don't be so materialistic that you need to buy such fancy things for your child, and take away precious time spent with them. They don't need much else other than food, shelter, and unconditional love from you and the father.

Sorry, that was long winded. I've thought about this a lot since trying to conceive.

Feminists tend to be miserable because modern Feminism itself is a miserable religion that eschews femininity for power.

"But I'm a feminist and I'm not like that. I just want equal rights for women and men!" is the response I always hear.

Yes, dear, and that makes you an egalitarian, not a Feminist. Feminists support (and never condemn) things like #KillAllMen, either seriously or as satire. Feminists believe in a patriarchy that oppressess all women to benefit all men. Feminists reject statistics, facts, and logic to promote things like the wage gap. Feminists - both individuals, and organizations like NOW - block equal parenting laws for divorcing couples. Feminists like Mary Koss make sure that only women can be legally raped by making rape solely a forcibly penetrative act, so 'forcible envelopment' isn't rape, it's just sexual assault and thus the almost PARITY of rapes by women and men can be hidden and made to look like rape is almost exclusively done by men.

Women who have not been indoctrinated to be feminists, who aren't afraid of feminine traits like submission, being demure, softspoken, attractive, and emphasizing the youthful traits that correspond to fertility and supportiveness, these women aren't going against their biological nature. And without that internal conflict of nature vs behavior, you tend to be fairly happy as a result... or at least, not conflicted, stressed, and unhappy like most feminists.

Feminists are, by trying to be men - trying to out-loud, out-tough, out-compete men at their own games while simultaneously decrying the men's masculinity. Are there hyper-masculine women? Yes. Are there feminine men? Yes. But does the exception prove the rule? Also yes.
