I've been trying to find inspiration on how to be a better wife, mother and woman, and this community has helped a lot :) Recently I also started checking out Instagram accounts of carefully selected "momfluencers" with the hopes that they would encourage me to take care of my appearance and be more feminine in daily life. Ever since my son was born (almost three years ago now) I've been finding it really hard to feel beautiful and desirable in my new role as a mother, and these ladies apparently have it together. I truly enjoy looking at their gorgeous outfits and beautiful pictures.

However I've seen some articles accusing them of glorifying motherhood, of pressuring people into conforming to beauty standards, of being "slaves to the patriarchy", of just trying to sell a bunch of products to naive customers. And the thing is, I know they do sell a bunch of stuff through sponsored posts, but they match the ideal I aspire to so much more than most women I know IRL (who are more into prioritizing their careers, spending as little time as home as possible, and outsourcing housework and childcare whenever they can because they have more "interesting" projects to attend to).

What are your thoughts on momfluencers? Do you have any you follow on Instagram (or other social media), and has it helped you on the path to femininity?
