Hi! I (24F) am applying for dental hygienist school. By the time I graduate I would be 27/28, (almost out of time) but I would make around 65k a year working only part time, which would be a great part time job for a SAHM.

  1. Is 65k too much money? I'm hypergamous ofc and want my man to make more money than me. Maybe a basic retail job would be better. That way a dude with a bachelor degree would have SMV points over me, and lots more men have bachelor degrees.

  2. Would the tradeoff (my prime fertility years) be worth the payoff? Is it better to drop out of school and just focus on dating? Once I start school I won't hvae time and I know it's important that I find my husband in my 20s.

  3. With my financial aid if I graduated I would basically have no debt. I could use the money I make towards plastic surgery and towards paying off my husband's debt. Would me helping him pay off his debt throw off the Captain/First Mate dynamic? I don't want to lose attraction to my husband

I think a bigger problem too though is that I have no goals or dreams of my own. I obviously don't want to be feminist or a career woman but I hate feeling like I'm putting all this pressure on my hypothetical future husband to give me a life purpose when I have one. I chose this degree because it is a really nice job, not because of any passion which I know you're supposed to.

Any advice helps, thanks!
