Super Bowl or boring

Ugh, HATE sports. I tried to get into them as a means of connecting with my dad, but I just can't fake any enthusiasm.

I was soooo happy when I found out hubs hates sports. I've never had to put in headphones to drown out the commentary blasting on TV or wait until a commercial break to ask him what he wants for lunch. The disliking of sports is an invaluable trait to me. ;-P

I really don't care for sports at all, although I do enjoy going to games! But that's more about socializing, tailgating, and snacks than the actual game :P

I'm not sure how much it is considered a "sport" but I actually really like watching UFC matches. I don't follow the season or people or anything, but if one happens to be on we watch it together.

Luckily for me my husband isn't into sports either. He does participate in some fantasy football leagues but half of the time we don't even watch the games. When he does want to talk about it or watch I go and be a good sport (puns! haha!). Nothing is worse than the person you love hating on something you are interested in and want to share with them.

I love sports. I used to hate them until an ex got me into hockey - I absolutely fell in love with the sport and have been a fan ever since. My fiance is a hockey fan as well as a football fan, and he managed to get me into football. Now I don't take football as seriously as I do hockey, but I do enjoy watching it. My fiance played football when he was younger, and consequently can explain the plays to me in great detail and make very accurate play-by-play predictions, which I love (and find quite sexy, to be honest).

Boring :p but game night is guy night anyway so while my boyfriend is out having fun with his friends I go out and have fun with mine. Win-win

Haha, I love watching football! It's funny because my SO hates watching sports. He politely offered to watch a game with me once and he looked like he was in so much pain the whole time! Never again!

He does say I look cute in my oversized jersey that is pretty much a dress :)

That being said, I always choose doing something productive over watching my team play on Sunday, unless the score is tied in the 4th quarter, of course.

Luckily, both C and I don't like sports. I never really have to deal with them unless we go see his parents and go out for food with them. Or if I go home, but I spend every weekend with C anyway.

luckily both me and my SO hate watching sports on tv (except the Olympics). I might watch if it was the finals in the rugby world cup and New Zealand was playing, thats about it. I really don't care who wins, so why would i waste 80mins finding out? :)

I think this is pretty much an extension of the "one of the guys" theory some women use for dating. Cursing like a sailor, loving beer, and watching sports. If you can relate to the guys, maybe they'll like you. After all you won't be part of the stereotype of the control-freak girlfriend, who doesn't like it when you spend too much time watching the game. Men do legitimately complain about that type. You won't be that kind of girl, because you love the game (NAWALT!). Ultimately they are both pretty solipsistic philosophies. Either she won't let him watch the game because she doesn't like it, or she will let him watch the game because she does like it. Ultimately it's irrelevant whether or not she wants to watch the game, it's what he wants to do that matters.

I don't personally care for sports, and neither does my SO, so I don't have to worry about it.

My SO has made it very clear, Soccer is his thing. I am not permitted to watch it with him. He goes to games with friends, and I am not permitted to go. I am fine with that as it makes him happy.

I think I am lucky because I am just not into sports, and my husband likes to play sports but not watch them. I don't mind watching HIM get all sweaty and pumped though, hahaha.

I do love me some football food though..

We had a great Superbowl weekend by going out of town a few hours to spend the weekend with another couple and their baby and watch the game on Sunday. The guys did a couple hikes and moved around some furniture and the ladies tended the baby and did trips to the grocery store to plan yummy meals. We made the most amazing shish kebabs and the guys grilled some big steaks. We all watched the game and cheered and laughed and had a great weekend.

I love sports....I have all the team jerseys and like to paint my face. Yay! I usually just sit on my bf's lap during sporting events.
