Hi ladies! I was hoping for a little input. I'm about to fly across the country to see my new boyfriend for a weekend (we both are in the same grad program and are in separate states over the summer. He finally confessed his feelings for me at the end of the school year so we haven't been together long, but things are definitely serious.) We are staying in a beach cottage that he has covered the cost of, since I spent my own money on the plane ticket.

Some things I know I'm going to have to remember are to receive graciously and without complaint (I know he's going to want to wine and dine me, and I've always felt guilty about things like not splitting the bill). I'm a little worried about him seeing me without makeup because I'm self-conscious about my skin, but I know that's unavoidable since we'll be staying two nights there, so I have to let go of my anxiety and accept that he wouldn't be with me if he didn't find me sexy.

I don't think I'll have a problem letting him take the lead on things because he knows the city much better than I do, which I think is good because it forces me to trust his judgement.

Do you have any other advice on taking a first trip together? I've never taken a trip like this with a SO before and I really want to make sure I don't screw it up. Thank you!
