A woman's staying with a man after being with a bunch of guys doesn't usually mean he's the best out of all of them - it could mean she's been burned and is settling, or that she's become aware of her decreasing SMV and is again settling. Typically the progression is from higher quality guys to lower, not the other way around.

The reason any man should steer clear of a girl with a high partner count is that said count indicates low standards and low self-respect. Whether being promiscuous is good for women or not, that's up to them to decide as its their life.

I do understand where you're coming from when you wonder why we'd give a shit about this. I honestly don't care how many partners they've had in the past. Part of this is because it creates a very awkward conversation. I don't ask they don't tell. The other side of the coin is where it gets awkward. I can't remember the amount of partners I've had. I lost count. Which when having the "numbers" conversation with a girl is awkward as fuck. I honestly haven't seen anything anywhere that helps with that conversation. A link would be helpful.

I also don't plan on having any LTRs so I don't care about pair bonding. A girl that is dtf for a while is great regardless of sexual history. (as long as she is std free)

Sluts are great in bed, easy to bed, and they're usually fun to hang out with too. But for a long term relationship or marriage, they are worthless. Too many alpha cocks means increased divorce or cheating rate, or the chance that the children you raise may not be biologically yours. I care about if they are open and honest. If they are able to do that with a high number of past partners, then awesome.

I am not interested in marriage, but have had several long term romantic partners (at 32yo).
