First of all, fuck you for clicking on this because it says "Easy". What I'm about to say is the first step on a long path and if you don't want to go all the way, don't go at all.

Now that the Zen bullshit is out of the way, we can move on to the second point: it's been a while since I've read or contributed to the RedPill, and that's because I've been in Hong Kong picking up a new skill - something I thought I had mastered. This skill is called walking down the sidewalk, and it's the best way to start learning how to assert yourself with confidence.

The first step is to get somewhere crowded. If you live out in the country, then load up the pick-up and go into town. Hong Kong is perfect for this, but any city will do. Then step onto the sidewalk, set your posture (read up, ladies) and start walking. Pick a direction and go. Don't speed up for anything, and don't let anyone slow you down. Walk right down the center of the sidewalk. Don't sidestep or twist. If someone is daft enough not to move out of your way, go ahead and bump them. Really knock them, if you have to. The point is that you regard your walk as an immutable force of the universe and you're going to get to where you want to go, when you want to get there, on your own terms. Consider it an analogy for your life. Of course, don't be a total dick and shove people when they haven't noticed you. In this case, just put your hand on their shoulder and calmly say, "Excuse me." Everyone will be so shocked at the slightest physical contact that they'll practically fall over themselves kowtowing in apology. Go ahead and relish this feeling.

Anyway, now comes step two: what to do with your eyes. This is very simple. Always look straight ahead with your eyes up. If you have to look at the ground, do so down the bridge of your nose. Don't look at the pretty ladies in the cute dresses because they'll think you fancy them. This walk, as a symbol for the rest of your life, is infinitely more important than any woman. However, there is one exception. If you see someone looking at you, make eye contact with them. And don't let up until they do. Give them your best "the fuck you lookin' at" face. This also goes for bums and beggars. Don't avoid looking at them like you've always done. These people look at you for sympathy - look at them for a chance to reflect upon the relative wisdom of your life choices so far.

And that's it. It will take some practice. Turn a walk down the street into a symbol of your life: take no shit and never let anyone turn you from your chosen path. Now every time you walk down the street you'll remember to apply these principles to the rest of your life and hopefully get your shit together. And it's just so much fun to do.

Edit: OK, I like you guys but name-calling is not a habit I'd like to encourage. Good thing I started this post with a "fuck you".

It seems some people misunderstand the point: walk with confidence. Don't fucking mean-mug a gangbanger or shove someone who's standing still. But for Christ's sake, bump shoulders with the asshole who won't move out of your way. I don't care where you live - if you can't walk down the street without ducking and weaving, then you've got an issue.
