So these women would rather die an old spinster, alone with cats, than budge their "standards" even a single inch, even as they approach full-on menopause. And a guy who's in shape, with a six figure income, a solid career and a higher-end European car doesn't fit the bill. Amazing. Stunning, actually.

I'm finding even at 33, six months removed from my own LTR, that in-person game is far more effective than online crap. I think that the more "honest" you are online, the more you're shooting yourself in the foot. And I think this is because women online are assuming that "all men" over-exaggerate their online profiles. Why? Because the women themselves do it with their highly doctored and/or outdated photos. So they're assuming if they see your "honest" profile, you're probably a bit worse off than you're letting on. So lately I've been just going out to meet and approach. Also, you get to see the goods straight away, rather than depending on a photoshopped, angled online dating picture.

Hypergamy is a hell of a drug.

One of the funniest things to me about women is their expectations in a man. They want everything they can possibly get. They want perfection and they think they can get it because in their youth they have relatively high smv. As they get older their sexual currency drops and they realize they have to settle. Then their list goes from perfection to will pay for shit. So pathetic and funny.

It doesn't get any better, even into your 70s and above. My Grandma was recently widowed, and she has met several very nice, respectable men who try to court her, but she "hasn't felt that spark yet."

Online is a twisted game. I spent a few years figuring it out.

I'm an attractive guy in my early 30's. A couple of years ago I put up a profile with good pictures of myself, but it was only modestly successful. I changed up my profile to indicate the career I was chasing, not the one I had, in addition to changing some of my pics to include other women.

I log in the next day, literally 3-4 times the unsolicited messages I had total up to that point, plus girls would respond to nearly all my messages.

It's not enough for women to simply have a hot guy. He has to be hot, wealthy, tall, etc. etc. Online enables a woman's hypergamy like nothing else.

I cannot find it, but last year there was a man in New York City who did this, faked being a doctor, and actually met the women. He pumped and dumped them because he obviously couldn't keep up appearances. I think he banged 20-30 women.

However, like you, he did have the money to initially make it appear that actually was a doctor: nice clothes, nice car. He just said he couldn't go back to his place because it was being fumigated for bugs/pests.

You could do the same. If I'm not mistaken he just fucked him in his car or at their place. In fact I'd recommend everybody to do the same if able.

The problem with online dating is that women are so "overvalidated" there, it's hard to get a response if you don't conform to their wishlist to 100%. And women over 30 usually only want guys their age. So yeah.

You've inspired me sir. I just changed my already abridged profile to claim that I am a ghost writer for entertainment and that I travel for theatre. I also balance my budget despite advances, per diems, royalties, etc. Oh, and it's all top secret. This should come in handy for short-term game, and a convenient way to next them. There may be a simpler explanation here than hypergamous female behavior: sheer volume.

It's been a number of years now, but I posted an online profile back when I was single too. I didn't put anything more than a few basics and when I came back a few days later to flesh it out my inbox was already flooded. My peers' experiences have been similar with nothing more outstanding on their profiles than mid-twenties without an ex-husband and a pack of kids. It's an odd world online, standards shift to the extreme low and high ends.

Honestly, I don't understand your point here. Not really sure why it's shocking to you that a very handsome man with a lot of money and free time, looking for older, overweight women will be bombarded with more messages than the average guy. Shocking, the fake account is more interesting to women than you are.

Seriously, I'm lost at what point you're trying to make. That women suck because they're attracted to what is basically the beau ideal of male hood? How is that any different than when men filter out unattractive / overweight women? If a fat girl made an account using swimsuit model pictures to prove men are into looks, would there be any reaction beyond "duh?"

Threads like this are fucking stupid. TRP is about increasing your societal value. It's about becoming a worthwhile person with self-respect and the confidence that goes along with it. But all we have here is a misogynistic circle jerk because, instead of trying to become the neurosurgeon retiring at 49, you guys would rather moan and whine about how awful women are.

Envy is absurd. Misogyny is absurd. Women are wonderful. Better yourself, learn to love yourself, and they will follow. Don't spend your energy crying over how unfair it is that they have standards and you don't make the grade. Make the grade.
