Job 3:25 - "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me."

Sorry for that, I'm not religious or anything! /s just thought it was relevant. On to my post:

Fear is, how should I put this... kills everything, for the longest time I couldn't stop being afraid, of losing a gf, my job, my life, or to put it simply "You only lose what you cling to". It made me start acting in ways that made my worst fears materialize in front of me over time. I'd imagine a scenario, or a thing happening which I dreaded, then wouldn't you know it, it always did.

Ironically, I never had this problem when I was younger, I got chased by women aggressively (still do all the time) without trying, I left all my LTR's on my terms when I got bored, but as I got older and the reality of life set in, so did the fear and self-doubt, I became clingy, suffocating at times. We create our own realities with our thoughts and beliefs about ourselves, sometimes I have OCD fears I can't control, but the trick is to not acknowledge them or give them power, then cancel them out with a more positive scenario, which in turn creates a more positive outcome.

Is it just that our worrying causes what we dread most to happen? or keeps evil at bay? Is it safer to always assume the worst and be wrong? Or live in ignorance until you're blind-sided and annihilated. Recognize your own thoughts and patterns, that's why it's only possible to live in the here and now, because now is the only thing that's real.
