God damn.

You know when you're trying to learn something and you realize your entire strategy towards what you're learning is wrong and this strategy is the reason you can't get the results you want?

I had this when I was learning pool, I only got good at the game when I realized that where you leave the cue ball is more important than making the shot.

I had a similar realization tonight...

I had a girl come over for dinner and a movie. She's good looking, thin, feminine, decent personality.

I went into this date thinking sex was on the table (it was) and I figured I would get laid tonight. I didn't jerk off for the last few days so I could enjoy the experience more.

She came over,

We chatted for a bit, the conversation turned sexual and we shared some sexual things that we've done but it felt like two friends sharing sexual topics. Not two people into each other, there was no sexual undertone to the conversations at all.

We then made dinner, watched the movie, made out and I brought her to my bed.

She didn't want to let me go past making out.

She ended up leaving at about 1AM and that was that.

Will I see her again?

Possibly...

I'm not too worried about that though.

What hit me hard was that a girl drove 40 minutes to my place and we didn't end up fucking. It definitely was on the table but I just failed to move things in that direction.

So with her gone, my glass still half full I took out my journal and began to dissect the night.

What went wrong?

Why didn't we fuck?

As I started playing things back in my mind, I noticed one common scenario.

I did not FEEL sexual. Right off the bat, I didn't feel sexual and I could feel that she was getting this vibe as well.

I was a sexual dud...

So why was I a sexual dud?

I thought back to a co-worker I banged last summer, she ended up coming over and within a half hour was naked on my bed.

I was sexual in that moment...

So why wasn't I sexual tonight?

What was different?

The difference between the two girls was that with the first, I didn't CARE about meaningful CONVERSATION.

The co-worker came over, we talked about work and I made sexual comments most of the time, while making sure to hold strong eye contact.

Whereas with this girl, I wanted to have "good" conversation. Like something deep where I really got to know who she is as a person and what she's like. Not even from a place of neediness or oneitis, I just enjoy good conversations with girls.

This was my Achilles heel because while girls enjoy those conversations, they don't turn them on. What turns her on is coming from a sexual frame, even talking about the weather can be a sexual conversation if the frame is right and you use body language and eye contact to convey intent.

Instead, I focused on deep conversation and thought that deep conversation is the key to sex when it's not.

I seem to think that if I can show her how different I am, or how interesting as a person I am she will fuck me...doesn't work that way.

This is why I felt like a sexual dud, I was too focused on conversation and trying to learn deep things about her thinking if I did that then I could lead from there and end up having sex with her. It doesn't work like that though and from all of the past girls I've been with, I don't think there was a single one where we had good conversation and ended up fucking later.

Next date I go on (which should be soon, next week probably..) I'm going to cut the deep shit out, and instead just focus on having a sexual intent and communication even if my words aren't sexual.

Girls can learn after we fuck about my views on the world and shit, that's when we can have deep conversations.

This is the conclusion I've come to after a bit of analyzing and alcohol. I need to stop trying to have good conversations with girls and instead have regular conversations with sexual intent which is communicated through my body language, eyes and so on.

So what does a sexual conversation look like?*

Well, looking back on the conversations I've had with girls and we ended up fucking...

It had nothing really to do with the conversation at all.

It felt like while we were talking about "normal" topics, there was a sexual tension or intent bubbling underneath the conversation.

And in my attempt to try to have these super cool conversations with girls, I've lost sexual bubbling interlaced with the conversations and vibe.

Which has been my biggest lesson tonight, a kind of shitty one because I wanted to fuck this girl but these are the lessons a player must have to improve his game.

I think this is one of the downfalls that introverts run into, we tend to have deep views of the world and life in general. We want to share this with people, but when it comes to girls these sorts of views don't turn them on. It's good conversation for pillow talk when girls are most vulnerable but before sex, these types of conversations don't do anything sexual to her.
