The biggest thing you can learn from TRP is ultimately NO ONE GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOU. So if you don't fundamentally believe that you are worth it, aka you don't give a fuck about not only you but your destiny, you are screwed.

If you truly want to go far in this world, you can. You can reach the heights of any industry, develop any skill, become alpha, acquire aesthetics, optimize your own health, build a harem, become a celebrity, whatever you want. If you have talent and motivation, the sky truly is the limit. A poor kid in Compton grew up and became a headphones mogul. My GF's fitness role model, Jenna Renee, was a fat high school kid with an eating disorder.

If you want to go far in this life, you can. But what you can't do is make people give a fuck about you. What happens when a high-status guy dies? People take shots, pick at his life, the media runs high-click rate stories about bullshit, people pretend to care, and if you are truly loved by your community like say 2Pac, then yeah, you will be imitated and revered. But you're never not disposable.

If you were to die heroically rushing into a burning building and saving a bunch of people, people still couldn't be bothered to give a shit more than they do about some dog being abused. If you are a man or minority, you are disposable. Look at how they report stats - mainstream media, not even Jezebel or some shit, ran a story about what a travesty it was that 40% of child soldiers were female.

Like "this shit is not acceptable, men and women of America, we cannot rest until 100% of child soldiers are boys."

This is how you are viewed. If you died in a war, Hilary Clinton would be saying that the real victim here is your wife, who now has to live on without you. (Check her wikiquote, absolutely nausea-inducing). That is how disposable you are.

Which means that it's time to wake up and accept that you do not have to care about anyone else either. You owe them nothing; they are disposable to you and you are disposable to them. Use them better than they use you.

Girlfreind/wife cheats or breaksup - no other man should ever get to your level - so shes always comparing the next man to you - sure she can settle but in the back of her mind you should be there.

The point you have missed is EVERYBODY is disposable, and so, if you choose who you can be used by, then you should make sure that other person will allow you to use her too.

In short: I'm disposable, but only to disposable people too.

In general: I'm X , but only to X people too.

Corollary: you shouldn't allow any woman to treat you as a disposable man if that woman treated some other man as non-disposable, no matter if she was wrong.

If I have a piece of paper with just the opposite message I would be considered pessimistic, sad and depressive. When in fact having the former paper almost guarantee those attributes.

Pretty much. As a man your only worth as a human being to society at large is how easy, comfortable and rich you can make a woman's life out to be. You are supposed to expect nothing in return and to always be around for when they need something from you. And you are treated like shit if you express sexual interest in women, regardless of how low her SMV might be, if you are not part of the elite in good-looks.

I had this young woman ask me to take a look at her baby while she went to do something. I had this guy ask me to give him directions to a place he wanted to go to.

You think I stayed there paying attention to a baby that does not belong to me? Nope. I nodded to her in agreement and when she moved away, so did I. As for the guy who was asking for directions - I gave the wrong directions. Gave him the way to reach a very rough area. Not my fucking problem wht happens to ''our'' civilization.

Think of it like this:

You're not disposable. You have so much value that those that leave you can't handle the amount of value you give off. They leave you to find someone with less value, someone more easily manipulated, because they know at a drop of a hat you could leave them. It scares them. We're not disposable. We create value within ourselves for ourselves and choose who to give our value to.

It's interesting to me that the first got substantially more upvotes than my own post, which differed by seeking to put a positive spin on this "unfortunate" fact of life.

"Disposable" does not necessarily mean "lacking value or worth." All it means is "used and discarded." Women are users. People are users. Briffault's Law states that males will be used until they can provide no further benefit.

If I provide a service and am set aside afterward, I am not deprived of anything. I still have the capability of providing that service again. In fact, because of experience, it is possible that I may improve on that service. And because of that improvement, I may end up with referrals, leads, or other perks. In my eyes, this is not a bad thing at all.

It's a little frustrating to see the downvotes and objections, but based on months worth of study on this subject, my mind is made up, and I'm quite comfortable with this position.

I'm sticking with it.

It's very motivational but a tad too much self-victimization. Yes men are disposable. Yes, you should always pick yourself back up.

It's questionable though about picking who you're disposable too. You might be disposable but you should always be dependable. In life, the only person who should never let you down is yourself.

So as long as you become a better man and learn something with each encounter, the no matter who stomps you flat into the ground and discards you, there is nothing to regret.

I enjoy incorporating minimalistic and stoic views into my life, but 'i am disposable' sounds so weird. I prefer to say it 'I have to power to walk away' and 'Don't fuss over things you can't influence, exert discipline over the things you can'.

I think I get where you are coming from. Yes parts of society treat us as disposable, and we can sometimes internalize that. But it is unhealthy for us to take that internalization and further to think that someone else is somehow less disposable, that we are obliged to "hang in there" for longer till they decide to end it because of our perception of relative disposability.
