If those communities and moderators don’t want good people with real advice, then thats their problem. If they want to walk blinded through life, then let them; it’s their own lives to live. Reddit is all about that kind of bullshit. Once in a while I'll comment on a sub that has nothing to do with any topics we care about, like bicycles or the weather or local city stuff. Some idiot always chimes in with "you better downvote whatever he says because he's a Nazi! Check his post history! The_Donald, Red Pill, Big Dick Problems." And someone always responds with "OMG he's a monster! Look at those subreddits! 'Hillary For Prison' can't we just kill people like him with poison gas or something? He's a subhuman! How come these hate groups are allowed to exist?"

They're not very bright. I even get random DM's from people saying they're going to doxx me, going to call my wife at work, going to stand outside my office and shoot me. Yet somehow we're supposed to be the violent ones.

Yup, it's just "guilt" by association, don't take it personally.

If you want to roam freely, you should have more than one account, though there are plenty of subs that check for that. I'm pretty sure a VPN would get you around something that like, but I'm not exactly on that level of tech savvy, so don't just take my word for it.

While I've never been banned for simple association, I have been banned from multiple subs (I think up to 4 now) for simply saying controversial things. You can still have productive conversations, just have to find the right subs for them.

but what's worse is that reddit makes it so easy to do this, by making it too easy for mods to ban people with dissenting opinions, rather than actual rule breaking, like posting spam or asking for money.

Take reddit's rule against posting violent content for example. It is draconian. they don't mean simply posting gore videos or threats to specific people.

They also mean things like "X deserves what's coming to him" or "I'd never give up my rifle, no matter what politicians do." unless it is left-wing violence, then they're OK with it.

According to reddit admins those are examples of violent content, and the rules are enforced at the whim of power mods with nothing else to do.

In its core, The Red Pill is basically evolutionary psychology applied to gender dynamics. It's acknowledging that there are evolutionary reasons why men and women are different and why their sexual strategies are different too.

A big part of this community gets quite emotional about this knowledge though, and, rather than seeking truth and deciding what to do with that themselves, tends to seek moral authority and guide to living from self-proclaimed alphas.

This makes The Red Pill look like ideology (and probably it is), rather than a neutral platform to discuss ideas, which, no surprise here, negatively impacts the image of people associating themselves with it.

It is because some of you are hateful and do treat others nasty. Not all of you but enough for everyone to take notice. I am sure if I look into the comments after writing this that I will find a bunch backing you up. Stating a bunch of things to not even ask "well could we be doing something wrong?" "What made them do this?". Just a bunch of people in their own bubble always reassuring each other they are doing the right thing. This doesn't fall into just this one group. People tend to fall into safe bubbles. Never questioning or looking outside it to question it. I like to learn about new things. Which brought me into the world of red pill and a bunch of others. To be honest I was expecting better. After learning about red pill and a few others. Is when I said I was done dating. Still open if the right person comes but not actively looking or needing one. I decided if the majority were like so many here. That being single was a better option for me. I will probably get a bunch of hate filled comments from this but wanted to bring my side into it. Point being maybe some of you need to take a look at how you treat others. I even question myself and put myself in other situations on purpose. I also don't degrade people to feel superior to them. Like so many here do.

I got downvoted like hell, the moderators banned me, and they stated that I'm no longer welcome, I tried reaching out to them to have an open discussion, but they are not interested.

There's a Chrome extension called 'Reddit Masstagger' that will flair you (seen only if the person has it installed) based on subs you post/comment in. Mods probably have that because dissenting PoVs are bad, you know?
