Don't make the mistake of thinking that anything you see a public figure say on video is sincere or unscripted.

Ronda Rousey is a a product, marketed to an audience. She has agents who understand the demographics and tastes of that audience, and have coached her in how to play to it. Just as some women (whom she calls "do-nothing bitches") are carefully prepped to appeal to the tastes of millionaires, she is carefully prepped to appeal to her own target audience.

They are both engaging in beauty contests. The difference is the judges. One contest is judged by rich men's erections, the other is judged by audience spending.

Since female athletic contests are less impressive (and less popular) than male athletic contests, the preferred route to real money for female Olympians appears to consist of two elements, the vicarious female ego and the erect male penis. This can be a difficult line to straddle, because excessive tough-talk from a woman tends to be a boner-killer, and excessive sexual objectification tends to ruin a tough-girl image.

From what I have observed of her marketing strategy, Ronda appears to have some finesse at playing this.

Observe a publicity still typical of her. The gloves and challenging scowl are easy to spot... they impinge upon the consciousness. But unless we pay careful attention, other elements slip under the radar... the flowing, carefully styled hair, the full makeup with lip gloss (remember that makeup simulates not only the signs of health and high estrogen, but also female sexual arousal).

And she's not above dropping the scowl and flashing a smile when she knows the boys are watching.

And then there's this.

So don't be fooled. Like nearly all successful women, Ronda leverages her sex appeal to heterosexual men far more than her physical or mental capabilities. This is not evil, it is simply intelligent marketing. After all, many men surpass her in the last two categories, but in the first, not a one could ever equal her. Most of what comes out of her mouth is spin-doctoring that.

Ronda would be nothing more than an unknown olympic medalist (quick, name another female olympic judoka) if significant number of men weren't masturbating while looking at pictures of her. She knows this, accepts it, and either likes it or at least doesn't dislike it enough to stop making money off it.

Ronda's book My Fight Your Fight was a surprisingly good book that had a lot of RP truths to it. From overcoming her own struggles as a socially awkward woman to typical AWALT behavior by her own admission.

Ironically, Ronda earned her status by doing exactly what we preach on TRP which is STFU and lift and be a better version of yourself. Ronda did exactly that. She pulled off monk mode better than a lot of men and for that I'll give her credit.

I think Ronda Rousey is more RP than she is feminist. She earned her "equality" by doing it hard way with hard work and determination. The typical feminist wants what Ronda has without doing a damn thing to earn it. For that I give her a lot of respect for that

I have no problem with women who want to be bad asses. Rhonda Rousey is a freak and she's awesome and go her. If anything, this is like how only the greatest could pull Excalibur from the stone, only the most badass alpha could possibly maintain a RP relationship with her. Ronda is somebody that I can admire and respect as a human being. Anybody who achieves what she has is doing a lot right.

That said, that doesn't mean I want to fuck her. (Though she is fuckable IMO) They are totally unrelated.

Women who achieve great things don't get an SMV bump.

For fucking and just spending time with a girl, I'd kind of rather have a girl that is just fun to be around and a warm person in general with limited craziness who can help with the bills and the day to day shit.
