When single, I always made it very clear that I'm not going to play this game. I always said very early on, and in no-bullshit terms, that I'm not going to deal with that shit. If she pulls that shit on me, I will not play 20 questions and try to guess what's going on in her head. And I think that's the right way to deal with it: demand that she act like a grown-up. gasp

But how should that be addressed if you're in a relationship? If you're just banging her and she pulls that crap, well, I have better things to do than deal with a chick that's going to be high maintenance, I wouldn't feel bad kicking her to the curb. But if you're in a relationship, obviously you don't want to kick her to the curb.

How have you dealt with 'I'm fine' in a relationship? If she's doing this, then there's obviously something on her mind, and it could very well impact the relationship.
